Cool little old school bar. Cheap drinks. Never ate the food but it looks good. Decent pool table. Bartenders and clientele are friendly. Smoking is permitted which is a big plus for me in the winter especially.
D &D is the kind of Coal region bar I cut my teeth in. They open at 7 am weekdays, 11 on weekends. Dark all day long, cool in summer, warm during winter. Beer colder than my ex wife's heart. Early morning, afternoon, evening and late night crowds all fun in their own way. Pool is the house game, and there are some crack shots there. Being a dive bar officianado I've got three words. I love this bar

Best bar I’ve been to in PA. And I’ve been to a few. In fact, I’m headed there today. Yet again. As soon as they open (11 AM on a Sunday). Ha! Hi ‘John’, if that is your real name…. (The Swamp in Upstate NY)
