“I know all 5-star reviews are suspect, but my visit to DoGoods Tavern deserves the rating. My friends and I picked DoGoods based on their menu, which had several items I could eat on my restricted diet (no carbs). It was a Saturday evening and we did have reservations. We walked into the restaurant and instantly loved the decor. The place felt like a clean, friendly, Old World Pub. We were promptly seated and had quick service. Our waitress said she was in training, but still did an excellent job of waiting on us.The food was DELICIOUS. I chose the special of the day, Thai BBQ chicken and shrimp, and loved every bite. My friends ordered regular menu items including the spicy chicken wings, the haddock, and fish fry. Not a single complaint at the table. We all loved our food.Everything in the restaurant was clean. I made a stop in the restroom and found it well stocked and scrubbed. Even the corners of the floors and stalls were clean. It's unusual these days to visit a restaurant and have everything go just right, but that was our experience last week. I'll definitely be back to eat at DoGoods Tavern. I also recommend it for their quality of food, and the fact they had meals with only protein and vegetables, a rarity in this part of the country. Definitely a great experience.“
“Excellent food. Upstairs dining nice - slow paced, well served. Well prepared drinks. Excellent filet and crab cakes. Garden salad accompaniment very nice. Nice selection of dessert menu. Decor inside dated, but service and food well make up for that.“
“We eat breakfast there about 2 or 3 times a month. Great food and prices and you can't beat attentive and interactive staff.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu and staff seem welcoming to kids. ..they have kids activity placemats and provide crayons...and have complimentary candy for the kiddies at checkout.Parking: As long as it's not fully busy, parking is goodDietary restrictions: Not so much restrictions (although they do their best there) they do accommodate special requests and orders as best they can.“
“Enjoyed an evening meal with my family on 7/27/23. The place was very clean, employees friendly, and food served hot and made to order. Not too expensive, 4 of us got burgers, fries, shakes, and ice cream for around $60.00. My only advice would be to stop using cheap styrofoam plates that are too small and not strong enough and snap in half when picked up.“
“A place for good, basic food. Good selection on the menu, tasty specials, an interesting buffet and hospitable, kind service.Vegetarian options: Lots of freshly prepared vegetables.Parking: Easy access, lots of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible and with adequate room for maneuverability.“
“We recently celebrated an 80th birthday at Country Fare and it couldn’t have been easier. Reservations for our large party were made a few weeks ahead of time, and the person who took our reservations also took an order for a sheet cake to be served when our lunch was finished. On the day of the event, we were set up in a private room and the waitresses assigned to our party were friendly and attentive. When everyone had finished their lunch, the waitresses brought the cake to our table, complete with candles. Thank you to the staff at Country Fare making this family event special as well as easy to arrange.“
“What can I say? It's HUDDLE HOUSE. A hidden gem right off the interstate. Food quality varies (who's cooking, what time it is, etc) but it's always reliable and even if there's something wrong with your order the staff are very quick to correct it. Jodi is great, very kind and funny. Come and get yourself some hearty food.I recommend the bacon, egg and sausage gravy stuffed hashbrowns. Get a biscuit on the side instead of toast, break it up and throw it in with the rest. Throw on some hot sauce too if you like it, very filling meal 10/10.“
“The restaurant is very small, only 11 tables and a counter that seats 8, but the atmosphere is warm and cozy along with very nice and polite staff, it a bet on the pricey side, $ 34.00 for only two people and we shared the chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. The food not only looks good but taste good as well, over all it's well worth itWheelchair accessibility: Not easy to get around in, inside the restaurant, seen it with a guy“
“Stopped for lunch today. Sat in the bar area. Our server Rachel was very friendly and efficient. The food was very tasty. I had the up in smoke sausage sandwich and my wife had the cheesesteak quesadilla. Can’t wait to go back. Unfortunately I left my phone in the car. So no pictures.“
“My partner and I both went to dine at Tony's Mining Company (March 22, evening) after a lull of at least a dozen years. This is a NEWly recreated atmosphere and a most pleasantly surprising experience. It's been tastefully remodeled...wood paneling, exposed beams, with very nice ambient lighting. We were greeted politely at the door and promptly escorted to our table. Service was very good, but the FOOD!!! Yes: from the bread with whipped butter to a tasty salad, the salmon and the scallop dinners we each ordered, the desserts, and the delicious drinks...such fun to be delighted. Oh, and the small, homemade chocolate cookies gifted to us as we sipped our hot French-press coffee. We will return, and hope to tell all our dining friends about it, too. We ate in the expansive bar area, by the copper-domed gas fireplace. Try it.“
“Honestly, I was rather disappointed with the food. I bought a special which was a spicy chicken sandwich which included French fries. It was a sad sandwich dripping in a spicy ranch(I think) dressing. The piece of chicken was quite small, but the fries were delicious! I purchased the salad bar separately and was very good! If it wasn't for the addition of the salad bar, my ratings would be much lower.“
“My husband and I had the best time! The food and drinks were perfect, the service was awesome and I loved hearing the regulars all just chatting away. I was having a rough day and this made me leave feeling so happy ☺️ our new go to place!❤️ thank you guys!“
“nice local pub to grab some bar food. Had the cheesesteak and brussel spouts. nice service. There when it wasn't too busy. Would give it higher but there was NO non-alcoholic beers. Would love to see Athletic Brewing or Guiness zero.“
“To me Bruno's has the best cheese steak around. Bring born and raised in Philly every place I've lived and/or worked I search for good cheese steaks and seems most places put their own twist.. thats cool but Bruno's gets it right.. especially that soft roll.. many don't realize how significant getting the bread right is ! I do wish they had pepperoni there.. pepperoni cheese steak was my go to when I was a teenager.. but I digress. Again not knocking other places on their sandwiches because I've had some that really piled on the meat but making a cheese steak with the pizza dough isn't what I call a cheese steak.. more like a calzone. Bruno's cheese steak would fit right on in down in Philly“
“This is an unexpected delight. I had an appointment nearby with a little over an hour to kill at dinner time. The service on a Friday night was excellent and friendly. I ordered a burger to go and what a nice experience to discover a well cooked delicious burger with a nice presentation despite being take out. I have low blood sugar and low iron and was positively dizzy by the time I got home and opened the container and found that it was well worth the wait! Highly recommend.“
“What a really, really nice place!! We were at the Gem show at the Lebanon Expo Center, and googled places to eat - Lebanon Gin Mill popped up. Looked great and boy was it! We were greeted by a couple local guys who let us know you could walk any direction around the very large bar. There's definitely a comfortable, at-home vibe here, no matter where you're from. All the menu options are very well priced for what you get. The cocktails are delicious and also reasonably priced - great value for your dollar here. We sat at the bar close to the "stage" which is in the corner of the bar area. They have live music and Sundays are "Sunday Jams" from 2-5pm. Jessica Batz was the singer and she was great - lots of classic rock/folk songs. Jill was the bartender and she took expert care of us. She was very busy slinging drinks but still would stop by and talk with us and make us feel welcome. She was very proud of her tenure at the restaurant, and enjoyed her job. Her kindness to two strangers was refreshing. They have an awesome beer selection with some stuff you're not going to find just anywhere. I had an apricot sour that was delicious. We ordered the following food: 6 old bay wings, 6 "sweet fire" wings (their signature sauce), Burnt Ends (on top of a bed of blue-cheese coleslaw, just a hint), and the salmon platter - blackened on top of bacon and brussels sprouts with a honey-dijon sauce on the side. The wings and burnt ends were so good we forgot to take pictures; just of the salmon platter. Jill's cocktails were excellent - her lavender collins is so yummy. Also don't miss the smoked peach old-fashioned. All in all, we had an amazing time. This place flies under the radar, but shouldn't. It should be shouted from the rooftops.Parking: A bunch of spots, all along the main street“
“Willam Penn Bar and Restaurant is one of the oldest businesses in Lebanon county and city it's famous for it's hot dogs and it's other cuisine such as breakfast and burgers and the atmosphere is in my opinion great and the owner is a great person to talk to and so are most of the “
“Let me tell you, this French onion cheesesteak cured my depression and my broken leg. It’s incredible and the French onion soup they give you to dip it in…. Out of this world. The whiskey selection is incredibly and the bartender was super cool and a great DJ !!! 11/10 corner bar.“
“My girlfriend and I went there on word of mouth. Some friends and family told us about their roast beef sandwich with fries and gravy. so we went there and ordered it. They were telling the truth it was excellent. They told me the turkey and fries were good. So I know I'll be going there to try that too. If its anything like the beef it will be very good to. ?Parking: There's plenty of parking. When my girlfriend and I went to leave their were quite a few people in the dinner but still a lot of parking left.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps.“
“Greatest place for out of town folks and locals, very warm and welcoming environment . Worth the time and money you are spending there and you will most definitely be catered too I am gonna be spending my days of work pretty often at this place“
“We moved into the area about 2 years ago and originally even when we were scouting the area to move, we stopped here often and quickly realized that this place is definitively a local gem and an amazing establishment….for how many times we have been here, I can’t believe this is our first time writing a review. All of the food is great and we have tried a bunch of it from lunch to dinner, the weekend specials always add some variability to the menu and the taps are always changing. We have two small children and everyone that has ever served us has always been so great and patient with them…and perhaps the best part is that it’s locally owned and operated….we will continue to support this organization and the people that make it what it is indefinitely. This is the almond dusted salmon which was the weekend special which didn’t stand a chance once I got into it.“
“Over all good experiencesVegetarian options: They we devineDietary restrictions: My brother in law and brother are both diabetic and l9ve friendlys for there optionsParking: Good parking and good accessKid-friendliness: Cute names for foodsWheelchair accessibility: Good for my grandmother“
“The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with flavor. The menu offered a great variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone. The ambience of the brewery was chill and relaxed, creating a perfect setting for a great meal. The staff was wonderful, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the visit. I was so impressed with the overall experience that I am already looking forward to going back to Snitz Creek Brewery for another incredible dining experience.“
“My husband looked for something special for Valentine's Day this year and he found it! Was almost a trip back in time. The food was amazing, you know the kind of food that's been prepared, slowly cooked to perfection. Same with the atmosphere. Completely unrushed but an attentive staff. I can't remember when I had such a delicious and relaxing night out. ❤️“
“Rocco's is a nice little deli at 12th and Federal. I found this place through Yelp. Hoagies and sandwiches are $8-$12, sides and drinks are extra. They have a large selection of drinks and chips to go with your hoagie. Staff is friendly and food was prepared quickly. I ate there and the place was busy the whole time. Off street parking for around 8 cars. I'll definitely be back. Thanks!“
“Wednesday wing night. Best wings ever. Cooked perfectly crispy but still juicy inside. Hot garlic actually has chopped garlic on the wings. (Not the minced stuff from a jar) Keep up the perfect wings and awesome service! Also, one of the best mushroom & Swiss burgers I've ever had. Battered fries are spectacular.“
“Our 1st time.We were hoping to have their steak dinner, but 4pm was serving time.We should of waited the 20 minutes. We were the only customers in the restaurant.Shrimp and wings was good, but the wings were small (Bell & Evans wings the size of your baby finger)Quesadilla was very good.“
“The food was amazing!! Prices were affordable and portions were generous. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Thank you so much, I look forward to trying more menu items in the future! There was one person running the place. At order placement I was informed of the wait time being 20 minutes, which was fairly accurate and understandable as food was made to order. I was not in a hurry so it was no trouble, but something you might want to be aware of. It was well worth the wait!Probably best for carry out, but there was a sort of slender bar with stools if needed for eating that two or three people might fit at. There weren't any menu boards or menus that I could see, I used what I could find online to order.“
“Food was good. Good size portions. Service was ok. Had to wait for the waitress to finish socializing with other customers to get waited on after giving our drink order. That took at least 10 minutes and it wasn't busy. (When I say socializing I mean it had nothing to do with ordering food or anything else associated with the job. ) not trying to be ugly...just stating the facts.“
“Took my daughter and granddaughter for breakfast... We just absolutely love the trains. And attentive service and for 3 of us the bill was 28.00 very good price and the food was amazing.Parking: I didn't actually go count , but there was plenty“
“First time trying the place. The menu was solid my fiancee and I got a smattering of various delicious food. I loved the quesadilla we wanted to try their signature wings but they were out. The Korean sauce was still excellent. We had a few excellent drinks as well. They were a bit short staffed for the number of people there had to remind the server a few times of drinks orders and they were out of some beers they had listed but hey those are the times we live in. The staff did a great job even though they were a bit busy. I'm pumped to go back and hopefully get those signatures wings.“
“Our first visit won't be our last. Food was really good just as we were told. Portions are large so it's easy to share if you can agree on one tasty item. Friendly efficient waitress. I sat next to the window unfortunately, so kept my coat on. It's not fancy or updated by any means, but the food was fantastic.“
“The history and original decor are amazing!!! The food was delicious, and Gia, our server, was awesome. Highly recommend!!! Plus, there is a lot of paranormal activity within the building. All good energy, and it was fun checking it out!! Definitely will be back!“
“Got breakfast here saturday morning for the first time...place was busy both inside and drive thru...decided to go inside since it was my first visit..ordered a croissant with ham egg and cheese..it was great...prepared perfectly..even though the place was full the employees did a great job and had my order done in a couple minutes...the only thing is its really small inside really crowded when its busy...but well worth it...coming back friday morning.....“
