My other coworker got the side salad with a panini sandwich. The server was great and the food was great also. We all just drank water which came to the table in a glass bottle. We were allowed to move around tables and hang things on the wall which is really rare when you rent a place for a party. All the guests commented on how amazing this place was. “Stumbled upon this gem on the way home from Allentown. Not sure why everyone didn’t give it 5 stars… let’s just say they are WRONG! Our waiter Alex was phenomenal! It’s so refreshing to have someone who knows the menu and can give you an honest opinion. He recommended the French dip, which is something my boyfriend never would have ordered, and he was drooling with every bite! We had an espresso stout and a vanilla chocolate milk stout and if you like stouts they were delicious!!! (We aren’t IPA fans so can’t review that part.) We also had the cauliflower fries with Thai chili dip… so good. They had some really unique options on the menu. Things you wouldn’t (or couldn’t ) make at home but also classics that anyone would enjoy. The “Among Us” burger is their gluten free vegan option, which is usually typical, but they chose to step up the toppings which really made it exceptional! Side option are fries and chips and we tried both options and they chose wisely! Both are worth trying. Can’t wait to come back through this way! Who am I kidding? Skylight is a family run restaurant that specializes in Latin American cuisine. There are a few Italian entrees on the menu too. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. My wife had a grilled chicken Caesar salad and I had a marinated grilled skirt steak with a side of sweet plantains. We hadn’t had plantains before and they were wonderful. We shared the Tres Leches cake for dessert. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Skylight Cafe.“

They have a cute outdoor area along the creek. They play reggae music is so relaxing and fun. It honestly feels like you're on vacation and nowhere near boyertown. They have large grills to cook your own food and servers to help you cook as well. It's a cute little bar area. I wish they stayed open later, but I get why they don't. Prices are quite expensive considering you have to cook your own food BUT you get a lot- meat, salad, potato, bread and a drink AND the experience which is unique for this area.“

“My family and I are from Utah and we was in Reading visiting my son in college. We randomly chose this place off Google and I'm glad we went here. The guys were very friendly and the food oh my goodness was amazing. The only thing was the pork chops were a little dry but everything else was amazing. We got the fried chicken, chicken wings, fried pork chops, Mac n cheese, greens and fries. No complaints from us other than the pork chops little mishap but would definitely eat here again. It was very busy but both the staff we interacted with were amazing and attentive and doing their best to get to everyone as quickly as humanly possible. As a bartender I notice those things so we waited a few minutes for a drink but not because they were not hustling and noticing who had been waiting a bit longer. The female bartender was lovely I didn't get her name but I complimented her hair and her curls and she took a moment to tell me how to do it myself..... She also got us our tab quickly so we could get to our show on time. Little things like that mean a lot thus the 5 stars across the board!! We will definitely be back soon for the wings????“

Breakfast items are available all day :) There are multiple meat-free options. The falafel is one of my favorites. Today, I had a spinach feta pretzel wrap, and the braided soft pretzel was so good! I am especially called to this place in the colder months because there are so many comfort food options. The weekly specials add variety, but I always have a tough time choosing from the regular menu. I just really need to get here more often!!“
