“From the moment you step in until you leave you are valued. Frank met us when we arrived insured our meals were up to his and his wife's standards. I have eaten meals at some of the finest dining restaurants around the country. What makes this different? One it is caring from service to ownership. Second, they are culinary chef's and its shows in the taste as well the presentation. I ate vegetables that I usually leave on the side, because it was hard to leave food on the plate. We usually have leftovers, but honestly the portions we appropriate for the price. This is not kid's place. This is a great place for adults to enjoy a meal that is the Best in Berks County and probably beyond. I have been to 48 states, and we usually go where the recommendations are. If you live anywhere near this place and you want a meal that you won't regret, please pick up the phone and call. You will never be disappointed. The best duck I have ever had. The owner is truly the best, always so welcoming, kind, and attentive. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at an incredible Guatemalan restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and colorful decor transported me straight to the heart of Guatemala. The staff was incredibly friendly, greeting us with genuine smiles and offering helpful suggestions for first-time visitors. The menu was rich with traditional dishes, each one promising bold, authentic flavors.

We started with the antojitos, and the pupusas were perfectly crisp on the outside and filled with warm, cheesy goodness. The chuchitos, small corn tamales with a savory tomato sauce, were delightful and full of flavor. For the main course, I ordered the Pepián, a thick, aromatic stew with tender chicken and a rich blend of roasted spices—it was beyond amazing. My partner had the Jocon, a traditional green sauce chicken dish, and said it was one of the most flavorful meals they’ve ever had.

Every bite tasted like a home-cooked Guatemalan meal made with love. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair for the quality. The homemade tortillas were fresh and the perfect accompaniment to every dish. The beverages were just as memorable—the rosa de jamaica was refreshing and naturally sweet, while the atol de elote offered a comforting, creamy finish.

The ambiance was relaxed yet festive, with traditional Guatemalan music playing softly in the background. Service was prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable. We felt truly welcomed, like we were part of the family. Even the presentation of the dishes was beautiful—colorful, rustic, and inviting. Dessert was a standout as well, especially the rellenitos de plátano filled with sweetened black beans and dusted with sugar.

“If you’re looking for a solid dining experience in Wyomissing, Coastal Grille is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know much about this place going in, but I’m really glad I went and I’ll definitely be back. Walking in, the first thing you’ll notice is a beautiful, large fish tank built right into the wall on your right. The restaurant is dim and upscale-feeling, but still very family-friendly and not loud or overstimulating, so you can actually have a conversation. They have both booths and tables, and the space is very open and spread out. As a parent, you can even strategically seat your family in view of the fish tank or the windows to give the kids something to look at. It’s great for a casual family dinner, a date night, or even a birthday celebration. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no ramps, you can roll right in to your table. It’s located in a plaza but set apart, so parking was never an issue. Plenty of spots, including handicap parking up front with just a short walk to the entrance. They have a solid variety on the menu including alligator bites, burgers, pasta, salads, and more. It is on the higher end price wise. Most entrees start around $14 and up, and even the kids meals begin at $8.90. The cocktail menu is extensive and the dessert menu is worth a look too. They also have a lunch menu where prices vary a bit more favorably. I ordered the Coastal Cheddar cheeseburger burger with no tomatoes and it was excellent. Very fresh, well seasoned, and served with shoestring fries that were equally on point. They also bring out a ciabatta loaf with butter to start, which was a really nice touch. Food came out quickly (always a plus). The staff is genuinely incredible. There’s a tag team mentality where anyone on the floor can help you, refill your drink, or check on your table. My server was very attentive, and even when they got busy someone always stepped in. No reservations needed, at least when I went which was on a Sunday around 1pm. Highly recommend!“

“A group of ten of us rode up to our first visit to Jimmy G's and arrived at 11:00am just as they were opening. Tables were moved together voluntarily by the staff at the indoor location of our choice and we were seated immediately. Our server (forgive me as I don't recall your name) was there in a flash, had our drink orders taken and confidently answered our questions without hesitation. She's very good at what she does. We each ordered and between the ten of us we had cheesesteaks, chicken cheesesteak, bone in wings, boneless wings, a pressed turkey sammich, coconut shrimp, onion rings, crab fries, boardwalk fries, popcorn shrimp and I had Jerk chicken tacos. All of our food came out piping hot, in a timely manner and was as ordered. Everyone enjoyed their food and we agreed it's well worth coming back again. Hopefully next time the weather is a bit better so we can enjoy the outdoor atmosphere but the inside was good too. Now bare in mind, it was early in their day and we were the first ones in the door so we had a great experience where others who've reviewed said their experience wasn't so good for one reason or another. Bottom line is we're all human, mistakes are going to be made from time to time and it's how we learn to be better so if a mistake is made during your visit try and be cool about it and give them the opportunity to make corrections before coming here to the reviews to blast them out.“

We got 4 different dishes so we could try a little bit of everything! The coffee was absolutely perfect! We both got cappuccinos. We also got the cannoli french toast, cream chipped beef, garden omelette and the reuben. The sweet potato fries are light and crispy. “We cannot speak highly enough about Stokesay, their entire team, and, most importantly, Hannah Kufro, our Wedding Coordinator that we worked with! My wife and I signed our venue contract one-year to the date ahead of our big day, with a different coordinator, one who ultimately ended up transitioning to a different organization just a week before our tasting was scheduled. For a couple planning a wedding, especially so close to their big day, this would normally have been an incredibly stressful change to hear about, however, we were expeditiously contacted by Hannah and met her days later at our tasting – immediately after meeting her we knew we were in great hands, and we both agree that our initial impression was spot on. Hannah’s attention to detail, flexibility, and knowledge have continued to impress ourselves, our parents, and our guests who experienced a phenomenal wedding just this past weekend.
