Hardly any beef in the garlic beef entree, fried chicken was mostly batter, fried rice was bland and yellow with no egg or veg. Lo mein was decent. Oily, overly sweet. Not bad, just not very good.
Stopped here for dinner on our way to our hotel after going to PAX. Limited seating, but it was not busy and there was plenty of room for our party of 9. Excellent maki combo that came with salad and soup for a very reasonable price.
Solid neighborhood take-out spot. What I personally like about South Ocean in Flourtown is the variety of Asian cuisines: Chinese, Japanese, & Thai. You can order sweet and sour chicken, or sushi. My go-to dish is the green curry; either with chicken or with vegetables. Very nice staff, quick pick-up, and fairly priced. 👍🏻
