“The restaurant is beautiful, the service is excelente I think is the best part, the food is good for the price and big portions I think one entree is good for 2 people, we went to celebrate my friend birthday and she was so happy, my favorite part is they have a not alcoholic drinks I loved ”

“We chose Tamarindos for our sister's 70th birthday party. They could not have been more helpful from decorating to adorning our cake to serving our drinks along with their yummy complimentary margaritas! Our wait staff, Jacob, was standing by for all our requests. We were able to get the small private room which enabled our party to switch seats and even play on the floor with the children! They were so accommodating. The food was fresh, delicious, and novel and offered several options for our vegetarians. It was so fun and comfortable that we lingered there over 3 hours! Because it's a BYOB, the bill was very reasonable. I highly recommend Tamarindos.”

Many of the dishes have kept me up at night from the french toast to the cheesesteak and the jackfruit medianoche.Chef Mark has always been hospitable and attentive, and you can tell how much passion he has for his plates and his community. “Absolutely loved the Sundae. Potato chips and kettle corn must be in all of my sundaes going forward. The latkes were phenomenal - must order. The harissa broccoli was delish. The burrata and focaccia was a delightful favourite.The Caesar salad was overdressed and the croutons were too hard for my preference. The pepperoni pasta was exactly that - not the worst but it was something I'd make drunk in my kitchen at 3 am. Fries were meh.A solid 4 on the food front. Go just for the decor alone, feeling like I was in an 80s golf clubhouse. The pool table is cute and fun too.”

Stellar service, I tried things I never normally would like the scrapple (not a fan of it generally), it was a little piece of heaven! All the food is small bites for tea service. The chicken salad on a mini croissant ?. The biscuits, clotted cream, strawberry jam made by the owner's mother! Absolutely scrumptious!!!”

It didn't seem like a place that aims to put pizza on a pedestal rather a well put together representation of desired traits specific to the Philadelphia dining scene. The pizza leaned towards a bar pie, that was executed by someone who has a devout understanding of the dough and the other ingredients involved. The soft serve was well spun and tasty. Overall the hype is real and was a real joy to visit!”
