“It's a diner, so that's how I'm rating the food and atmosphere. Both are great, but obviously this isn't about being fancy.I expect diner food to be somewhere between passable and good; putting it was really good and there was plenty to eat. I hate till I was stuffed and my friend took food home.I'm vegetarian/vegan , so I had the tofu scramble. This was definitely solid. There was lots of tofu so I got my protein for the morning and a good variety of vegetables; I appreciate it tofu scramble that has some greens in it like spinach. I had Fried potatoes so that I would be able to try the house-made ketchup and it was excellent. I wish more restaurants would do this. It makes eating at different places so much more interesting. If you're down for diner eating, this is definitely one of the best if not the best place to go in Philly.Vegetarian options: Sure, it's a diner. If you want eggs or tofu, you're in luck. If your vegan, it's much more restricted.“

“Traveling thru and stopped for breakfast based on other positive Google Reviews. Food was fantastic, Service was amazing and welcoming, and the other patrons made us feel like old friends. Jackie was outstanding in making sure we were happy and had everything we needed from start to finish. I had the French Toast and my wife had a Roast Beef Sandwich on a super fresh roll. We will make a point to stop again!“

“Fantastic experience. If you are looking for an old school diner, this is the spot. Food came out fast and the service was great. Seating was tight, but comfortable. Portions were large. The omelet was super fluffy and pretty good. Ended up getting a shirt as a souvenir.“

“LOVE this quaint, affordable, and really delicious spot. First time there and the place was full when we got there but I can understand why! It’s because the food is delicious and the people there are so freakin’ nice!! I am definitely going to be coming back and maybe (most likely) frequently!!“

“I’m not sure if this page is current…seems you have moved to a new location, but I wanted to leave a review anyway. My family had dinner at your new location yesterday and it was hands down the best service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I never really take the time to leave reviews so the fact that I’m doing so speaks volumes. Food, atmosphere, service, and prices were all top notch. It’s always a struggle to find a restaurant with all 4 of those qualities, let alone a menu with enough options to please everyone in my family since they all have different tastes. Our waitress went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable and the owner even came out to greet us. We will definitely be back soon!“

“Nice place with a friendly staff. Love the atmosphere and the food was good. The location is both very convenient and inconvenient. It's right off of route 1, which makes finding it super easy. But getting out of the parking lot is not easy due to the traffic. Still, great place.Parking: Difficult to pull put of lot during daytime hours. Best to make a right turn out and turn around at the gas station, just to be safe“

“I ordered a Nachos for lunch and it was big like Alaska Delicious! I had a lemon cheesecake for dessert and it was da bomb. My server is Nicolas and he was great! The bathroom here is super clean like a crystal clear wine glass out from the dishwasher“

“The outdoor patio is comfy even in chilly weather, the food and drinks are tasty, and the service is good. The prices are a bit high, but that's kinda par for the course and not exclusive to this venue.Vegetarian options: Not too many veggie items to choose from, but more than one or two.“

“Nostalgic to the max! Pictured is their original 1970s menu sign and prices, and a poster from one of two major Hollywood films that have filmed there. Prices were incredible: $7.25 for my Greek omelette including toast!). Yummy homemade pies, authentic Cincy-style chili (original owners are Greek immigrants and now the daughter owns it. Come for the kitsch and nostalgia and for a slice of true Northside. Great article about the owners' life story and more:“

“This diner has always been my go-to diner in Upper Darby. The food portions are big and delicious for the money. Let's not let these gems of our community fade. All the new places out there cut corners and don't have the hand-me-down recipes. Keep it up LD. Would love some Halal options.“

“We are from York pa, whenever I visit the area to see my father, we have to have Gateway breakfast before getting back on the road to come home. Western omelet, meatlover omelet and eggs benedict are my favorites so far. Wife loves their chipped beef gravy. Can't wait till the next Philadelphia visit. I'd highly recommend this place.... A+ from me!“

“Every time I come here the staff are always nice and attentive. When it comes to the food, they have the best tasting breakfast menu in the area. I love pancakes and most places make them so thick that they soak up all the syrup, not this restaurant! This local eatery’s pancakes never disappoint so don’t hesitate to order a stack. When you visit this place you will get good food, great service and a warm welcome.“

“Food is great most of the time. When it's not great, it's really good! Breakfast foods are my favorite, but they have a pretty good cheesesteak. The fried chicken is good, too. The servers are great! I've ever had a bad experience there. Good food. Good prices.Parking: Spaces are tight!“
