I like to walk around the baseball field. There's a nice view of the of the Mahanoy Plane and Locust Mt. You can see what is left of the old incline plane that was used to bring anthracite coal up to Broad Mountain. Just walk safely!!We were just up there for the Frackville fireworks and we had a five-star time. The fireworks were amazing and so were the funnel cakes. Everyone was having a great time.It's nice that places like Frackville still exist. Clean, safe, family friendly. You don't feel like an outsider in your hometown.

Got some great pictures of the sun rise one morning.
Went to the fireworks 7/3/2021. Great show, except numerous people with their dogs, and at about 100 yards from the launch area. 2 of them were visibly distressed. Irresponsible owners.
