“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!”

The endive salad with a Dijon vinaigrette was sublime and the Red Snapper the best we’ve had. Oh, and the New York strip steak was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. “The place is super cool inside, and theres no wait whatsoever. They have a mural on the wall of tons of Philly sports legends. The service was good and pretty quick. The food though was amazing. I got the hot honey chicken baked mac, and it was so insanely good. It was like hot, and honey, and stuff, y’know? Best mac n cheese I’ve ever had. Great location too, we got to choose between about 15 different desert spots afterward.”

“Went here for the first time for 50th anniversary, to be fair I chose the location based on available reservation time. The service was very good, the food exceptional. Everything was prepared as requested, fresh and extremely flavorful. Fresh oysters, I had filet and wife had scallops, both perfect, the blueberry galette with fresh local ice cream was delicious. One down side, and this is one of personal taste, was the flourless torte, just not to my liking. It is absolutely a place I would go back to!”

“Their pizza is delicious, always get a white pie with spinach and mushrooms. Unfortunately their sandwiches are not as consistent. Just ordered three Panini sandwiches. Two veggies and one bruschetta. The bruschetta was as ordered and very good. We only received one veggie Panini and got some other grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato?? Also the veggie Panini on their menu and online says grilled eggplant, instead it was two large fried pieces of eggplant on each half. Very generous sandwich but couldn’t eat most of it because of the fried eggplant.😫”
