“Phenomenal. Excellent cajun food. The owner is an inviting and affable host; service was top-notch, too. I stopped in without any expectations and was drawn to this place because they had gumbo. Everything I had was EXCELLENT. The bread, the gumbo, the jambalaya, the creme brulee, even the coffee (had a hint of cinnamon in it, which was a nice touch, in my opinion). If you are looking for something different, delicious, and reasonably priced: this is the place to try. I will most definitely be returning the next time I am in town.“

“This was my 2nd time here. Food is some of the best I've ever had. If you love southern style food, you have to try this place. You have to get the goat cheese stuffed wings. Truly some of the best wings I've ever had. Andoiulle meatloaf and mash potatoes were amazing. Gumbo has a nice smoky flavor, and I could have eaten more than the cup I got. The service was excellent. My only gripe about this place is that some of the tables are so dark you need a flashlight just to read the menu. I also recommend making reservations earlier in the day because the place fills up quickly.“
