“My husband and I both had their sushi special rolls, sunset Blvd and dynamite, and they were amazing! I want a fan of their veggie gyoza. It was very crispy and not very flavorful. My husband did like his pork gyoza, though. The biggest downside of this place is its lack of liquor license. It's very odd to have sushi without any saki or plum wine. The atmosphere was casual, and our easier was friendly and had a good sense of humor.“
“Last week, I came to Newark to visit my parents. I stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street. Since this restaurant was close to where we were staying, we decided to give it a try. We ordered two servings of seafood boil bags which were decent. Our server, Heather, was friendly and polite. We will come back again!“
“Liked St George's, went twice, 1st time they had live music. 3 different artist/bands and really enjoyed food and entertainment. Second time went earlier, before music started just to eat. Small place but a fun experience, one fellow was covering the bar and tables. Service was slow but not a problem. Pastrami rueban was good and the jambalaya tasted ok but was rather thick, kind of expected it to be wetter. Taste was good though. Had a nice early dinner.“
“We do not live in the area anymore so whenever we are in a roadtrip that could possibly bring us by this establishment, we always make sure to stop. The service is phenomenal. The food is delectable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming! There’s no place like this one. It’s been almost ten years since we lived around this restaurant, and we go out of our way to come to it whenever we’re on roadtrips.“
