Excellent breakfast that has something for everyone. Portions are much bigger than average. I challenge you to eat it all!
It is a hotel restaurant, nothing special Honestly go around the corner. This feels like a paid for placement, rather than earned
Staff are friendly, newly renovated, very clean, not expensive.

Bartender Tania was amazing. Multi tasking is her specialty. She can relate with any person regardless of why they are here. We watched her bounce from tending, to bussing dishes to o cleaning up the space. Keep her around.
Tania was fabulous & stayed open late for us. We are a group of very tired & exhausted chaperones of the East Coast trip. Thank you!!
We checked in late after a long and challenging travel day, Tania graciously offered to keep the bar open. She went above and beyond the call of duty!
We stayed here during April. After getting to the hotel late, a drink was much needed after a long day of travel. The bar was about to close but Tania stayed open for our group! She was more than accommodating and cheerful even though she was serving us well beyond her clock out time. Thank you Tania for turning our day around and going above and beyond!
Tania was awesome! She was willing to stay open for us after a long jinxed trip! We needed those drinks to calm our nerves and enjoyed our time in Gettysburg.
Tania was super accommodating for us and made our evening! Great bartender and made us feel special by keeping open a little longer to help us out.

Had a great time at 1863 as always. Staff was amazing even in light of the chaos that was our conference! Special shoutouts to Chelsea and Tania for the great drinks and friendly service!
Atmosphere was severely lacking when spending over $30 a person. Waitstaff was talking loudly at front of entry, cussing and someone kept coughing over and over, and not covering her mouth. My husband's steak came out almost medium well when he asked for medium rare. No one asked if it was to our liking. The only time my water was filled was when I asked for more water. Our drinks we ordered were marginal. Overall, I would not recommend unless it is just that there was no manager on duty at 8:30pm, and maybe better during the day.

Tania took great care to make sure we had a relaxing meal after a long trip, and she makes a killer martini! So glad we decided to have dinner here!
Gettysburg was our last stop on our 2 week summer road trip. We’ve eaten at restaurants with 5 star reviews on our trip but honestly the food we ordered and took back to our room from here was some of the best. The burger was thick and cooked perfectly! Fish tacos great flavor and my son loved his wings. Wait staff was very helpful and packed my to-go great with all the fixings.

The hostess acts like she is scared of everyone. I said I would take three waters, motioning to myself and my two children. She asked the table if we wanted all water then and my mother-in-law answered yes. She only brought the three for myself and the kids because she said I had only asked for three. Well yeah, I was ordering for myself and my children... Not the other adult at the table who she also asked? We didn't even see a server anywhere in the restaurant for 10 mins (like not even at a nearby table) and had to go ask for her. The server didn't write our order down, which is a pet peeve of mine because now I have to trust you to remember our order. As if to prove a point, she forgot part of the order and had to come back and ask. When she brought the food, we asked for condiments. Waited five minutes and then got up and asked for them from the hostess because our food was getting cold. The eggs, which my mother-in-law asked for ketchup for (gross, I know) were already cold to begin with. I definitely would recommend going somewhere else if you are staying here. It looks nice but it is like it's ran by confused children.
