All the food and drinks here were much more delicious than I expected from just another brewery. My favorite unique item was the pirogies and brats.

Always a disappointment. Food is mediocre at best.
We've been here maybe 5 times since they've opened. Each time we return we hope they've improved.
Not yet.

Our family has been meeting here every year after picking up Christmas trees for about the last 11 years! Great to see the minor menu revision with upgrades. Hate to see the Jalapeño poppers leave but the artichoke dip replacement is quite good! Top of list for places to eat in G-Burg! Would be good to see if ABC could create a NON Alcoholic beer! Not a show stopper, but I think they could pull it off!

First time here did not disappoint. Fun atmosphere, good food, and great service. The Appalachian Craft Sodas are so good (get the birch beer - it’s delicious.) We went for dinner and enjoyed the poutine, shrimp po’boy, and fish and chips. I’d definitely go back again if we were in the area.

First off, beer was not good. Did a flight, mediocre at best, there are much better breweries in the area, I would highly recommend checking those out first if you care about what you drink. Food was a step below Applebee's. Came here on a Thursday, at 2pm. Wasnt really that busy but service was horrible. Friendly but just unresponsive, people yelling from the kitchen for runners, like the staff are always fighting in front of customers vibe. Would not go back or drink their beer if someone else was buying.

We loved our food! The server may be new and pretending to know what they are doing but did not know the menu. Couldn't explain the dishes or beverages. Didn't put tickets in for some of our requests so they never got to the table. Very slow on beverages and scarce to check in. We had empty glasses for over 30 min. The food was amazing. Alisa H needs to figure it out or be replaced.

I’ve always enjoyed visiting Appalachian Brewing Company, especially for its craft beer, which never disappoints. The recent collaboration beer, “Higher Calling,” is no exception—it’s fantastic. However, I’ve been let down a few times by the quality of food during their special events, and I think it’s worth sharing some constructive feedback.
During Oktoberfest, the themed dishes felt overpriced and underwhelming. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience tonight at the “Higher Calling” fundraiser for hurricane relief in Western North Carolina. I ordered the Carolina “Dawg,” and for $14, I expected something higher quality than a basic hotdog. While the small side of fries was fine, the hotdog itself was disappointing. At that price point, an all-beef hotdog with more thoughtfully curated toppings would have been a much better fit.
I think I’ve learned my lesson with the special menus—fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Going forward, I’ll stick to the regular menu, where the dishes are more reliable. The Mile High Meatloaf, for example, may not be extraordinary, but it’s a solid choice that I can count on.
I also want to mention a small issue with service during tonight’s event. When I asked the server about the availability of the “Higher Calling” beer, there was some confusion. They weren’t sure if it was available on draft or only in cans. Later, when I asked about purchasing some to-go, I was just directed to the cooler to figure it out myself. Thankfully, the bartender helped me find it, but it felt a bit disorganized.
Despite these issues, I’ll continue visiting Appalachian Brewing Company and enjoying what they do best. Just a word of caution: be mindful of the cost-to-value ratio on some of the special menu items. I’m hopeful future events will strike a better balance between price and quality, especially since the concept behind these fundraisers is so meaningful.

Mac n cheese was very bland. Not much cheese on it at all. Waitress was great! Too many other places in Gettysburg to eat at. Won't be back here again.

Dinner was excellent but our server Kiernan,N was the best we have had all weekend. Today is Remembrance Day and extremely busy. Our server made sure our drinks we full and the food was served promptly and hot. Perfect place to end a memorable day. Thank you. PS. I NEED the recipe for the Jalapeño poppers.
