What a great experience. First time here in this historical confederate hospital. From the begginin Justine the manager/CEO was awesome. Her homemade sourdough bread is the best I have had,made Debbie’s Rueben perfect. Fries hot and crispy just like they do in the united kingdom(Scotland, Ireland and england) The wings crispy and perfect with the old bay. And Justines home made black and tan Chili was the best. Did a tasting and had to buy some, very good.
My wife and I selected Battlefield Brew Works to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. Justine was wonderful to work with. The experience was like working with a close friend as we discussed all the details. The food was delicious and the deserts were excellent. The staff was very attentive and made sure every thing went smoothly. We highly recommend Battlefield Brew Works.
Went here with the wife for our last night in Gettysburg. The building is a relic, and with me being a history nerd, i was amazed by how well kept everything is. They had a line dancing event going on, and it was loads of fun. The food is excellent. Bought a flight of whiskey. Their bourbon needs some more aging, but loads of potential there. The rye whiskey on the other hand is really really good. They have something going with that. I'll definitely buy a bottle next time...
