Great basement dining room Only ate there
I don't even know if you could call this food, most overpriced and disgusting thing I've EVER put into my mouth. 🤢🤮
Service was great but food tasted like it came right out of a microwave meal from food city
Wow. Just wow.
We ate in the pub in the basement. It's like you've traveled back in time. Our server was in period clothing. Our food was delicious and quick. I recommend the Bleu cheese dressing, trust me.
Also, keep in mind you have your choice of eating downstairs like us common folk, or eating upstairs for fine dining.
What an awesome experience eating lunch in the spring house and walking through the historic house yesterday. Mike our server was fantastic and had great attention to detail! We are coming back tonight for dinner
Interesting place to go. Food was good but prices were crazy high. 18% tip added for large groups and a place you could add more. Was fun once . I couldn't afford to take a family there.
The food is delicious. Crab cakes are loaded with crab. The bread is warm and wonderful. Em our server was perfect. Checked on us and provided pleasant information. It's a great experience.
Absolutely one of the finest restaurants. Great value and delicious food. We ate at the bar downstairs
Waitress/bartender was outstanding. Historic atmosphere
Highly recommend a meal and drink here!!
We really enjoyed both the tour and our meal at the Dobbin House Tavern. Definitely will return when we visit Gettysburg again. The tour was very interesting so be sure to sign up for that. We loved the atmosphere in the tavern and decided to eat there instead of upstairs. We were not disappointed! The tavern fare was delicious, the atmosphere congenial and very accurate to the times, and wait staff were fantastic!
Prime rib was really good, and so were the drinks and service.

Went in hungry after sightseeing. Seated quickly but waited over 15 minutes in an uncrowded with NO attention what so ever. The manager response was it must have been a shift change error.
Awesome place to eat. Location needs more parking.
Food was outstanding
My first time and loved how beautiful it was inside the tavern. And you are seated at a table with candlelight. I went with my family of 5 and it was a little cramp. But our waitress was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food was delicious and it wasn't as expensive as I was excepting.
The food was ok, cooks messed the order up,
Built in 1776 and still serving as a bar in a restaurant I would say that’s pretty credible
Definitely worth checking out
