5/5 will be going again. Stopped in on a whim and got an assortment of pastries and just WOW! The flavor and freshness of everything we tried was just wonderful.
I personally am not even a big sweets/pastries person for breakfast, and I was super impressed. My mother-in-law , who is a bit of a connoisseur of pastries (lol) said these were among the best she has ever had.
The sandwich menu also looked great I will be hitting that up next time!
Thank you!

Decisions!! I got a morning roll and a pecan sticky bun. Both scrumptious 😋
Great baked goods and lunch

I had such a great experience here. The Rachel sandwich was insanely good — perfectly toasted and so flavorful. I learned everything is homemade, from the bread (which is unbelievably delicious) to the dressings and even the latte syrups. It’s the kind of food that makes you want to slow down and savor it.
The bakery is also connected to the cutest little gift shop, the Lark, full of unique and charming things - perfect for holiday shopping.
The three girls working there were so friendly and welcoming. They answered my questions, made great suggestions, and were genuinely good at customer service — you can tell they care.
Such a cozy, high-quality spot. I will definitely be back!

Unfortunately not been happy with our sandwiches .
The Panini-Sandwich came as a regular toast , quite dark, tiny little cheese...
Nothing compared to the price of 11 $, we paid
The older lady serving us, was nearly polite, but not a little bit friendly- she seemed to be anxious to get rid of us as fast as possible ,although we were there 40 minutes before closing-time
We didn't feel welcome- definetly no place for tourists!

Amazing sandwiches, perfectly toasted with lots of butter. And amazing pecan sticky buns. 5/5 best food I had while in Gettysburg.

Very disappointing. At 9:45 on a Friday, I purposely went here instead of Starbucks to support a local business. There was so little in the case that I’m not sure how it can be called a bakery.

Unfriendly staff from the moment I walked in—felt judged rather than welcomed. The smell wasn’t of baking bread, but more a greasy panini press. Prices are extremely high for what you get. When I asked for a splash of almond milk in my drip coffee (since oat milk wasn’t available), the staff actually scoffed since you are supposed to pay $1 for that. We were told the cups are expensive when our daughter asked for water, well - the food is also expensive. The chocolate croissant tasted stale, at least a day old, and the breakfast panini was greasy and not fresh. The only breakfast side offered was grapes, with the rest being lunch-style sides. Overall, very overpriced and disappointing—I don’t recommend this bakery.

love this place! I go to the one in biglerville. they have the best breads and pastries and now pizza. I've loved everything they had there so far they even used to offer affogatos with some sort of praline Carmel diamonds (at the Gettysburg location). divine. love the handheld pies. the little apple tarts. those twisty cinnamon things. did I mention the bread?!? for a while we were just eating the bread with scrambled eggs every wknd cause the bread was that good. if you're in the area check them out!!!
superb pastries (apple cake) and delicious coffee; what more can one ask for in life.
My husband and I were in the area yesterday, taking care of a few things we needed to get done and stopped in on a whim to get a baguette to have with dinner and a couple of chocolate croissants for breakfast this morning. We were not disappointed!! Great staff, delicious food and reasonable cost!!! So very happy to support local small businesses!!!
