What a GEM! Everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly- so flavorful! Upscale Philadelphia level cuisine, right here in central PA. We loved the beautiful plates used to serve the food. The cocktails were unique and delicious. My husband is Syrian and our meal transported him back to when he was young, eating his grandparents traditional Syrian food. Jamilie Syrian Kitchen has authentic Syrian cuisine with fresh, well seasoned dishes. The food includes baba ghanoush, muhammara, beef kebab, dolmas, veggie mezza sampler with hummus, tabouli and spinach fatyer, plus falafel, kibbee and makanek. Each plate was smoky, creamy, rich, flavorful and balanced, with tender meat and perfect seasoning. Bread was piping hot and drinks were great. The restaurant takes real pride in flavors and craft, and the staff is friendly, polite and helpful. The place looked clean and organized. The place was genuine and heart. Visitors were the food was delicious, authentic and homemade, and they will definitely be back. Jamilie Syrian Kitchen was one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in Central PA and a welcome feast for families and first time guests.
