The salted caramel was absolutely delicious. I have heard so much about this place. so glad when I got into town I was able to stop. I will definitely be back next time in back in PA.
If I happened to be on death row, your ice cream would be my last meal…
Incredible ice cream with extremely unique flavors. The staff was wonderful and willing to share a story and take the time to talk to the customers. I am not from Gettysburg, but will surely make the two hour trip to enjoy this amazing ice cream again!
I just love Mr.G’s ice cream. They offer the creamiest and tastiest flavors all season long. Coffee is my favorite topped with mixed nuts but the vanilla soft serve with blueberries or just a little hot fudge is a scoop of deliciousness, that comes at a close second. I love Mr.G’s
Visited Gettysburg over the weekend during Gettysburg Rocks. I saw that Mr. G's donated a lot of gift cards for the charity auction. In addition to great ice cream, I felt like it was important to support them for supporting the community
Got 2 scoops in a cup of chocolate peanut butter. Delish! Loved the big chunks of peanut butter.

Mr G's is everything that an ice cream joint should be. The atmosphere of being in historic gettysburg, great food, and friendly employees. There isn't anywhere else to go for ice cream other than Mr G's.

The staff members are friendly and patient, even during busy weekend rushes, they maintain their friendly demeanor. The space is kept immaculately clean and you will always be greeted with a smile! Hands down the best ice cream shop in the 717!

A very famous spot for dessert in Gettysburg. And, for great reason. The Place definitely makes quality ice cream, has a decently diverse menu with nice specials, and the wait times are reasonable. Quite efficient here. I got to try out their cookies and cream milkshake.
That milkshake was very good! I could barely snap a picture in time before I finished everything. It was creamy and had plenty of cookie chunks. A fantastic price as well, and a nice portion. Someone else had a great pumpkin ice cream of some sort, which I thought sounded unique and very tasty.
All in all, this spot was great. I really enjoyed it. It’s a classic, and I would love to return the next time I’m in Gettysburg.
Kid-friendliness: Amazing for kids!

The ice cream is delicious, but loss of star because of the teenagers that serve during the week without parent supervision who rather have conversations rather than greet you and take a customers order. One of the girls seemed bothered by my presence because she blankly starred at me since I arrived 10 minutes prior to closing. Lack of customer service skills. On the weekends it's wonderful because the adults are there and they are friendly and attentive.

Move over Haagen-Dazs and Baskin-Robbins because we have a new winner! I don't know who Mr G is, but I assume he's an ice cream man from the old days. He makes the best ice cream! The locals love it, and tourists love it too. I had the regular vanilla ice cream with a waffle cone, Hubby had his cookie dough ice-cream. I think they tweak it daily, so everyday comes different flavors. The service was good, and the young, happy campers served ice cream. Ice creams make people very happy lol. Well, I'm so glad this place exists, so the next time I return, I'll try more flavors! We arrived late before they closed, but people still come here at night and line up for the sweets after their meals. After getting the ice cream, you can sit on a bench to eat it or take it to go. It's a house-like corner store and quite a nice-sized ice cream shop offering many flavors. Thanks!
