Im going to be honest: I didnt know what to expect after reading mixed reviews, however Im glad we chose to ignore those and give it a try. While the place is "children friendly" (mine are grown) this isn't the atmosphere. The environment is mid to upscale but warm and inviting. We were dressed down for the occasion but were treated just the same. Our bread plate was amazing (app) and we both got the shrimp with Tabboullah and it was by far the best dish in Gettysburg...
Love this place! The food and craft cocktails are creative and tasty! Loves the smoked appetizers- steak tartar and also the polenta bites were excellent! Great to see a new and interesting menu in Gettysburg!
We had the pleasure of dining at Sign of the Buck over Memorial Day weekend, and despite the busy holiday crowds in Gettysburg, the experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The food was beautifully presented and delicious! We tried the tuna, mussels, and crab dishes from the small plate menu to share. The bartender/server was knowledgeable of the food menu and her wine suggestion was perfect! Even during such a high-traffic weekend, we felt welcomed and valued....
