Gettysburg local here - Rather lengthy wait times especially in the evening. The food has almost always been great, but the service and environment are this place’s biggest downfalls. Servers are inattentive at best, and downright rude at worst.

I first have to say that we had been here several times since the restaurant first opened and have enjoyed every meal. That said, the service has always been lacking. The issue has been either friendliness or attentiveness. The other night we were craving their food and went at an hour that it wasn’t over-packed with people. The host suggested going to the bar area because he knew of a couple that was “definitely leaving now”. He told us to hover over the area until they left and the area was cleaned by the bartenders. We noticed someone leaving a tabletop with no one else sitting at the table except for a sweater draped over a chair (we figured she was still trying to claim it while she was standing, speaking to friends sitting at the bar next to us). We stood, noticeably, at the end of the bar where 3 seats had opened up for 5 MINUTES. There were 2 people working the bar and neither of them acknowledged us, even though eye contact was made, and never bothered to clean the area. We did not seat ourselves out of courtesy for the bartenders and allowing them to do their thing without making it stressful. Next, we saw the same host bring a younger couple into the bar area where the person standing near the table top removed that sweater and the host seated them at that table. It was then that we decided to save ourselves the embarrassment of being ignored any longer and left. This town has a knack of being clicky and assuming that everyone is a tourist. We are locals. If you’re not recognized by other locals you’re often given a cold shoulder. DO BETTER.

The restaurant was busy but the staff definitely kept up! Everyone was friendly. I ordered the shrimp basket with fries and it was delicious! Food came out fast and hot. The shrimp was juicy and pretty good size. The fries were amazing as well. So thankful they had sweet tea! If I ever get to come back out this way I'm eating here again!

Had some very good burgers on a recent visit with a group of five. (They have GF buns available if you need them) Service was good and the historical building provided an appropriate environment for the location. Desert choices were great and the apple crumble was a wonderful choice.

Went for a dinner recently. Was seated promptly and greeted by our server. I had a chipotle burger prepared medium rare as requested. My wife had the nutty buddy salad and added a veggie burger. My son had a chicken Caesar wrap. We were all pleased with our selections. Service was OK, a little on the slow side. Would return.

A stop for a good burger in Gettysburg, a quiet and casual place where you can eat well at the right price.

Great burgers, especially for a sports bar. Whiskey burger and sweet potato waffle fries was Really good. No steak or Seafood though. Comfortable atmosphere and a Great staff

The Gettysburger, Black & Blue burger, Sidewinder Fries, and Cheese Curds were awesome. The place was busy but the wait staff was managing to keep up.

The Gettysburger has been on my list and if you're in the area, I recommend giving them a try. Don't be surprised if the greeter waits for you to explain why you just walked in the door. The order staff was friendly and The Gettysburger on the menu was good. I could only finish half. There is a smaller version on the menu.

We were pleasantly surprised to get a seat without a wait. They have a large drink menu but we went with water. The service was good, and the burgers were huge and yummy. My grandson got popcorn chicken, and there was enough for two meals. Food came out promptly and nice and warm. Bathrooms were big and clean. On street parking so we had to park a couple of blocks away and walk. We would come back here if in the area again.
