Swimming and pizza, that's summer for me. The first time I ordered from here, I was picked up a large pepperoni and fries on the way home from a long day at the pool, and it was amazing. Nostalgia fulfilled. Since then I probably ordered pickup 4 or 5 times in 2 months. The pepperoni pizza is consistently great. We discovered Monte Carlo a few months ago, and actually changed from our usual weekly pizza place. We have been enjoying everything, trying other dishes besides pizza, until last night. We ordered like we normally do, getting a "Works" pizza, and picked it up, only peaking to see that it was the correct pizza, but when we got home, the pizza was burnt black on one side of the pizza. The food is decent; not the best I've ever had, but certainly far from the worst. Prices are slightly higher for things like cheesesteaks than I've paid elsewhere, but not by enough to really make a difference. The interior is clean, staff are courteous. If you live in the neighborhood, it's a reasonable choice, but there are lots of pizza places everywhere, and this one doesn't really stand out. If I didn't work nearby, I'd have no real reason to go there.
