Great historical place. This is the establishment that was owned by the leader of the “Molly Maguire” Black Jack Kehoe. Still family owned and operated by my uncle Joseph Wayne. My uncle and long time friend who recently died John Elliott were able to get Jack Kehoe a pardon for his crimes in the late 70’s by Governor Shapp. My Uncle is one of the best historians to speak to about the Mollys’ along with retired post master of Girardville Thomas Dempsey.
