I had the pleasure of dining here as a guest of a member. I didn't want to leave as every offering was spot on delicious! As for some of the people who have complained that they can't go there because they're not members, I'm sure if you live in that part of town (Gladwyne) finding the available resources and funds should be a piece of cake, with chocolate sauce on top.
Used to dine occasionally under previous ownership. It was always ok. Had the opportunity to dine here with a member recently. The Union League has done an amazing job giving this place a much needed facelift. Across the board from service, food, and cleanliness!!! They clearly are taking care of the historic building in our neighborhood, that was neglected for so long.

The Guard House has consistently exceptional food and service, with cozy individual green houses to keep patrons separated. The beef bourginon pot pie with bone marrow was perfectly prepared and the waffle with pecan ice cream provided a nice finish with a Southern flair.
