Haneeda's home is super clean and she is very welcoming and has a wonderful sense of humor. “Malgudi Cafe feels like home. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. And the food is excellent. The food served at Malgudi Cafe is the food I'm served when I visit my friend's homes in India. It's a taste of India in Exton. The food is prepared to order and is consistently delicious, so I don't mind waiting occasionally. I also appreciate that I can ask any server for help. Anyone carrying a white handheld terminal can add to my order and close my check. It's convenient, especially when they're busy. My current favorite dish is the vegetable uttapam. I spent 3 1/2 weeks in India earlier this year and didn't find any uttapam that was better than Malgudi Cafe. Same goes for the chai - it's outstanding. Do yourself a favor and get to Malgudi Cafe. You'll be glad you did!“

“Not your usual Indian! You’ll be greeted by the chef a very handsome softly spoken man who is very attentive & also very persuasive into letting him take charge of what you will eat. “We love coming here for date nights or takeout. The food is very flavorful and the meat is always cooked perfectly. I recommend the chicken tandoori, palak paneer, and the lamb korma. It is rare to have a stewed dish with such rich flavors while the meat is so tender. They typically decorate for Halloween or Christmas and it has a very soulful and attentive feeling. The staff is incredibly friendly and you can tell they are proud of the food they put out. My only complaint is that the seat backs of the booths do lean back and forth which can be a little awkward but the food and service make up for it in my opinion. If this is a problem you can also sit at a regular table or at a high top by the bar. This is one of those places we consistently come back to.“

“I came here for my sister's place and I have been in the USA for 3 months and really miss South Indian food badly. The food was too good and worth trying everything at this place. “My son and I tried Sangam today for lunch. Our first visit here was great! The dining room was very clean and ready for patrons. The lighting was bright and welcoming. They have only been open for a couple days so it was kind of a limited lunch menu. We ordered a veg and non-veg Thali. These come out as several small bowls on a platter surrounding a bowl of rice. It is also served with roti and papadam. We enjoyed this because we were able to try several different items. We are a family that enjoys Indian food quite often. The flavors were so good and fresh. The spice level was good for us. We like spicy but it wasn’t the type of spicy that killed your taste buds. You still wanted to go back for another bite. My son had fountain soda and I enjoyed their mango lassi. The prices are reasonable. The service was also good, we felt taken care of. We will be going back for dinner soon to try some of our Indian cuisine favorites. I really hope the community supports them!“

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Barwarchi Delaware on Rt 202 and was thoroughly impressed by the kindness and hospitality of the owner.

For my first meal here, I ordered the Chicken Biryani, and I must say, it was marvelous! As someone new to biryani, I was delighted by the high floral notes that made the dish unique compared to other Indian dishes I've tried, such as Tikka Masala. While I enjoy the deep, rich flavors of Tikka Masala, the biryani's lighter, aromatic profile was a delightful new experience.

The meal was accompanied by a Thums Up beverage—a fantastic Indian soda that added to the authenticity of the experience. For dessert, I enjoyed a traditional Indian sweet, Gulab Jamun, it was a delicious, syrup-soaked treat.

Overall, the food was packed with flavor, and the entire dining experience was elevated by the warm and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend Barwarchi Delaware for anyone looking to enjoy authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.

“The lunch buffet is absolutely fantastic! I have eaten at many Indian places on the east coast and this one is great. I do usually go for the buffet, and this one really shines. A lot of Indian buffets have dishes that taste similar, but each item here is really flavorful. Chana Masala I usually pass on, but wow this one was popping with flavor. And a spicy mix of herbs and onion - kind of like an herby dry salsa - haven't seen this before but it was a lovely addition.“
