“We had to try Nirvana Indian Bistro in Bryn Mawr, PA. this afternoon (3/24/24) which just opened not too long ago. The food was so delicious if I may say. The restaurant is pretty upscale and classy. ❤️❤️❤️ We loved it and we told them that we’re gonna come back. We ordered vegetable samosa, Chana Saag, and Curry Goat. I rate this Nirvana Indian Bistro a 5 out of 5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The quality of the food was superb! ❤️???The server was excellent too. ??Thank you for your hospitality!“
“Always enjoy the quick and accurate service from Ekta Bryn Mawr. Have also appreciated the host's recommendations on new dishes to try. Favorites include the Khali mirch fish and Dal makhani although we have enjoyed a wide variety of mains and appetizers. Routinely order for take out for the family and it hits right every time!“
“Veda is a wonderful place to get your fix for Indian food in Center city. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish bursts with authentic flavors and spices that'll have you coming back for more. Every part of their menu has something you'll love from apps, to mains, and even dessert! But what really sets Veda apart is the fantastic service, led by the ever-friendly manager Seth. He's all about making sure you have great experience , and it shows in every interaction. He communicates well and has a flare for customer service. Our company orders catering from Veda anytime we want Indian food and it's a hit every time. Outside of work, Veda also has a great selection of drinks as well.“
“Srinagar has the best samosa chaat in the area. Their takeout packaging is careful and food is kept in a double layered thick brown bag so you don't have to worry about a spill. And if you're lucky, you might just find a surprise complementary dessert in it.“
“The food was amazing and our server was so helpful and kind! Great vegetarian options. Will definitely be back again. Good prices and a casual cozy atmosphere. Got the samosasvegetable saag, and chicken tandoori, and they were delicious! Thank youVegetarian options: Vegetable saag & veggie samosas were so tasty!“
“I ordered takeout and got the goat curry, medium hot. It was delicious. Warning, it is served rustic, like Rogan Josh, so there are bones in it, which is to be expected. Super basic Interior, but the food was great. I would definitely come back again.“
“My husband and I have been looking for a good Indian restaurant for several years and have eaten in many places in the area. By far this is the best! We sampled a few of our favorite dishes (samosa, kebab, paneer, garlic nan, ras malai) and were very satisfied! Highly recommend!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance ramp and wheelchair accessible restroom.“
“I decided to order dinner from this decent restaurant for the first time on 3/8/24. When I say it was finger licking good; there is no lie in that. I ordered through DoorDash and my driver was quick with delivery service. When I received my food everything was as described from the menu. Everything was also a first try except the Naan, which is one of my favorites when it comes to Indian cuisine. The Quail was exquisite especially paired with the Turmeric spices; that's one dish I will be ordering again. Lastly the "tasty" Pakoras. I didn't know a dish like this existed until ordering from Indian Char House. Another favorite of mine. If you are looking for a decent dine in, be sure to give Indian Char House a try!“
“Wow I was in the mood for Indian food my my my I googled and found I rode right by the stand but bets believe I bust a u turn I got the butter chicken combo for $9 and a piece of garlic naan I must say that u turn was worth it and there was other first time customers out there they googled the best Indian food in the area boom ?there it was I will be going back with my husband he loves lamb since I don’t eat spicy Nafi made my order fresh to order very polite awesome customer service friendly environment reasonable prices and nice big portions he also takes Venmo, Apple Pay ,Cash app I would highly recommend this business for the the best Indian food truck very tender chicken if I could give 10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I would thanks Nafi for your service I will be spreading the word?️?️?️?️?️“
“The food was fantastic and the service was near perfect albeit slow to start. If you're looking for a family oriented dinner or trying something new for a nice date night, Nirvana is definitely one of the best restaurants in Chestnut Hill/“
“I’ve come here multiple times in the past decade and the chaat and lassi never fail to hit the spot. I got a fig lassi and a paneer chaat, both were so refreshing and the owner is so kind and hospitable. While this spot is not in a great location, the lassis and food make it worth it!!!“
“We come here at least once a week. The food is awesome, the service always quick and very pleasant and the atmosphere very comfortable. Love that it’s byob and prices are very reasonable. Our ‘go to’ on Friday nights. Always tell friends it’sThe best Indian I’ve ever had. Try it, you willLove it:)“
“I’m usually skeptical about Indian food in the US, but Virasat definitely hits the spot! Their Chicken Biryani actually reminded me of back home. Chicken curry, soya chops, and orange kulfi are some of my favorites too. Can’t wait to explore more of their menu. A must-try spot for anyone looking to satisfy their Indian food cravings!“
“Great food, atmosphere, decor and service. Will definitely be coming back! Happy Grover our waiter was amazing from the moment we sat down until we left. Food came out quickly and Happy was always checking in to make sure our table had everything we needed.. it’s 11/10 !“
“Amazing little place right in the Heart of Ambler. I usually always get the chicken over rice but everything on the menu is delicious. The owner is super friendly and always looks out to make sure his customers have the best experience. Highly recommend!!“
“Honestly this is the best restaurant in Manayunk......this Ekta location is the definition of 'consistency' ... friendly, welcoming service and the food is always on point..... consistently great. Nothing on Main St or Ridge Ave compares .“
“This is our favorite Indian restaurant by far. We order take out regularly. The portions are big, prices are good and the food is fantastic. We have many favorites (mine are malai kofta, samosas, and mango lassi). Good service too... If anything is wrong, they make it right. I only wish they offered reusable containers so we could return them instead of wasting them. I've made myself hungry so looks like I'll be ordering again soon!Vegetarian options: Almost anything can be made with paneer instead of meat. Lots of veggie options. Fewer vegan but they exist. My kid likes dal makhani for one.“
“The food is delicious. It never disappointed, and sometimes we chose food randomly, not knowing the names.Parking: Manayunk is a difficult for parking, especially during peak hours. I usually find parking around pretzel park or up the hill from it.“
“The food is delicious. It’s a must go place if you like spice with flavors. Vegetable Biryani, chicken and paneer tikka masala are tasty. Service is excellent. The portions are bigger than expected. We had dinner and then returned next day for lunch. We will be back next time we are in town.“
“Just had a good meal at this Pakistani spot! The food was legit amazing – like, I can't even describe how good it was. And get this, it's run by a cool family, which makes it even better. If you're into trying new flavors, check it out!Parking: A lot of space.Kid-friendliness: Nice family!“
“I've been going to Palace of Asia since they've first opened close to 20 years ago. Always good quality, always good service. We moved about an hour away but still try to come back when possible. Didn't know about the fire and accidentally went to old location, they were so nice holding our reservation while we figured things out. They even texted us directions.Great food and sweet people!“
“Indian restaurant that lives up to expectations. A bit difficult to find the restaurant if you are not from here. Good and classic dishes on the menu. Large portions that are also enough for the lunchbox the next day. Fast and pleasant service from the staff who gave good recommendations. Would love to go here again!“
“I highly recommend. We were greeted at the door by the young lady. We ordered our food and then seated. When I say the food was fresh. The food was made to order. The taste of the entrees left us speechless in a good way. The garlic naan was perfect. The chicken Tikka Masala was full of flavor in every bite. The chicken vindaloo was spicy as I requested and all very tasteful in every bite. If you want good food stop by this place. We will definitely be visiting again.“
“It was our first time visiting CSC and I must we felt at home. The owner is welcome and very pleasant. Aunty can cook!!! The chow mein was masta, the bake and salt fish had lots of flavor, and homemade chicken curry that tastes just like mom's. I'll definitely visit again and recommend this restaurant to friends and family.“

“If your looking for true Punjabi food you will not be disappointed in the amount of options they have at this restaurant. There are vegetarian and non vegetarian options for any persons taste. We enjoyed many Tandoor Appetizers that were cooked to perfection. The food came in a very timely manner. The portion sizes was perfect for a large group of people. When you ask for mild you indeed get mild food and if you ask for spicy they accommodate accordingly. I will make this one of my must visit stops when I'm back in the area.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly! There were children with their families here. Very inviting for children“
“We’re craving Indian food and this place was delicious. Good portion of food, and very flavorful. The two guys at the counter were very nice as well. Nothing bad to say about this place. The food can get spicy if you order even moderate but I love spice, part of why we order Indian food! Delicious place and we have leftovers.“
“The food Is well priced and so delicious! I usually get the combo chicken and lamb cubes patter- very filling and flavourful!Kid-friendliness: Clean open atmosphere, anyone of all ages welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: The door is wide enough for wheelchair accessibility, and tables are easy to pull up to when eating if seated in a wheelchair.“
“Best Party hall and grocery store owners everAt first, I visited Dana Mandi when it was in downtown at chestnut street. I had mouth watering Paronthe Makhan naal with a big glass of tea then. After 5 years from that time, I recently tried finding this place out again and learned it got shifted to upper darby. I was traveling back to Newyork from DC with my parents and told them i will get you best quality punjabi tea from this place. To my surprise when I reached there, Sardar ji (the owner) told me that due to huge loss of property due to floods and almost no recurring customer base he had to shut down the food corner :(. I felt sad for their situation and politely asked them for an alternative place near by.He said wait, you are my guests now I will get you all some fresh tea from our kitchen downstairs. We sat in their party hall (which was under construction then and almost done) and he served us delicious tea as his vip guests and not the customers. Later, I also bought groceries for my house since we were heading back after the weekend trip.We felt so much warmth with the respect we received from the gentleman who had such bad time in previous years due to personal and professional setbacks as he mentioned during the conversation we hadI humbly request every one to give them a chance to revive and flourish as another local business in your area.God bless him and his family with health and wealth. I will surely come back a million times if God permits.“
“Lahori Tandoori Grill serves authentic Desi food, with flavorful dishes capturing the essence of Lahori cuisine. The tandoori delights are a highlight, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to traditional flavors. The friendly service adds to the inviting atmosphere, creating a satisfying experience for Desi food enthusiasts.“
“I love ordering from Saffron Patch - always get the chicken tikka masala and palak paneer and it never disappoints. I have had worse Indian food before, Saffron Patch is the best in the area!Vegetarian options: Large number of vegetarian options like chana masala or paneer“
“My wife and I tried Tiffin (Newtown Square location) today. I can tell you for sure - we found our new favorite place! I would like to share a review with my honest opinion. To start of - the staff working there are super friendly and professional. In fact, so much so, that we ended up talking to them a lot while there - made us feel very welcomed. Added to the fun.The food! Holy moly! To start the meal, we had the Cauliflower appetizer - it was to die for. You must try this stuff! I could not believe how much we both loved the appetizer. It was a little spicy, but a good level - enough to feel a zing, but not burst into flames! :)My wife had a lamb Rogan Josh and I had a shrimp curry pot (highly recommend both). The spices, flavor, presentation, portion and taste, on both (we shared), was amazing. I have eaten in Indian all over the country, as I travelled as a consultant for work (for too many years). Tiffin is the real deal. One word - delicious. The time from when we ordered, to receiving the appetizer and lunches was perfect timing. Some restaurants practically bring the appetizer with the meal - not here, it was a nice pace, relaxed, no rush.In my opinion, this is the BEST Indian available in the area. We will certainly be back soon - and often. Try Tiffin - you will LOVE it.“
“Saffron is a haven for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine, offering a rich variety of dishes that capture the essence of dining in India. From their diverse biryani selection to the exquisite South Indian delicacies, every dish is meticulously crafted to perfection. Don't miss out on their carefully flavored teas, adding an extra touch of delight to your dining experience. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed!“
“Great Indian food with a large selection. The fried eggplant appetizer is amazing. The only drawback is that it is quite noisy and hard to hear each other at the table. Also, the parking is small but not a problem at night because there are lots for stores that are closed nearby.“
“We started with the Konkan Shrimps that was in their February special menu and followed by Malai Tikka Shrimp, as usual it was mouth melting ( great for kids ) and cooked to perfection. We love the fresh tandoori bread ( lachcha paratha and onion kulcha ) and their butter chicken with (thigh) red meat is very close to the Delhi butter chicken. Samosa chat , lamb chops are highly recommended and if there is still space for some sweets their Pistachio Kulfi is the best homemade version I have ever had. Always delicious and fresh food and worth every penny.Vegetarian options: Gobi Manchurian, Saag , Samosta Chat are highly recommended.“
“We ordered in and the order was ready very quickly. It was fresh and flavorful. Some people in our group wanted the food mild and that was provided as requested. I'm very happy to be right around the corner.we ordered Saag panir, Dal Makhani and a cauliflower ap with chili and tomatoes. It was all delicious“
“This place is TRULY amazing, perfect home cooking, wonderful service, warm and inviting decor. I am very sensitive to spice and also a vegan. They were able to make everything about my dinner just perfect! Will come back again and again!Vegetarian options: Fabulous place for Gluten free, vegetarian or vegan.“
“New Dehli serves good, authentic Indian food. The menu rotates from day to day but is similar when going on the same day of the week. Tuesdays have a similar menu as do the other days of the week.Staff is constantly replenishing food and getting the buffet area clean. A couple added bonuses is that they include various chutneys and Indian chai as well as simple salad components. The restaurant is definitely worth taking checking out if you like Indian food.Vegetarian options: Half the buffet is vegetarian.“
“They have special southern Indian dishes that I enjoy and put it in a different level. I had tried its non veg platter. Choices of protein is chicken or goat. I think it is tasty and makes the Indian style dining great. The dosa looks good and that I will come back and try. The air conditioner is not on good temp. I was sweating a lot while eating this spicy food. Masala tea is good but $5 a very small cup...worthy it?? I probably won't order it again.“
“Tried out Tawa Pomfret Fish fry, it was really good. One of the best tawa fish fry I ever had. Goat biryani was really good,Naan chicken butter curry was good too.Overall I highly recommend this place.Btw this is self service restaurant with very average ambience. I recommend to try takeaway“
“We went here for the happy hour (HH) today… taste and quality of the food were outstanding. Portion sizes are just right for HH. We had a great time. Highly recommend this place, especially the HH gives you the best bang for your buck. We will surely be visiting again.“
“We have eaten here twice and enjoyed it both times. The host/server is very kind and courteous. The service is a little slow, but not too bad for freshly prepared food. The food is very good - not exactly like Indian food I have eaten at other places, but with related flavor profiles - and much better in some instances. We loved the samosa chaat on both visits: a great mix of hot and cold ingredients and very well balanced sauces. I have had the saag paneer (which tasted more of spinach than what I have eaten elsewhere and was silky smooth) and the butter chicken (succulent, with well-cooked chicken and a tasty gravy). The naan is beautifully light and puffy. We are not big eaters, and the two of us shared the chaat and the butter chicken today and were more than satisfied with the quantity. The time we ate chaat, saag paneer, and goat curry, we took food home.I find both the screen advertising the food and the talk radio distracting and irritating, but I am slowly becoming resigned to the idea that restaurants that are not fast food places will assault me with unwanted media when I would prefer to talk quietly with my partner. Fortunately, the program changed soon after our arrival. But I would rather have music if there had to be any audio at all.“
“Wed night is the dosa buffet. You get a paper where you check off the varieties of dosa you want and they come out 5 at a time. Otherwise an order takes 30 mins to prepare. Food is authentic so make sure you have a functional bidet, bidet bottle, toilet paper and stay close to the toilet the next day ? #worthitVegetarian options: PlentifulParking: PlentifulKid-friendliness: Kids menu“
“This place has THE BEST korma out of all the Indian restaurants I have tried. I have been to 5 others and the others are not even close to Ektas's taste. My favorite order is the chicken korma, laccha paratha and the malai seekh kabob... omg it's all so good. I want to try other dishes but I'm so hooked on this order. I have tried the samosa chat and it is good when it's not served cold. Oh I also tasted the onion bhaji that is delicious as well. I love this place. I just wish they add pani puri and dosa to the menu so that I can stop having to go to 2 different restaurants to get all of my favorite Indian foods.“
“I always look forward to the samosas ?? It's the mango, tamarind & verde sauce too! So, delicious ?Vegetarian options: We always have a good foodie experience ? They have a delightful selection for vegetarians!!Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes, children are welcome.“
“OMG ! They truly live up their name, Bombay Dhabba. We are from Bombay, and we missed authentic street style Bombay food. Once we tried them and then our search ended. They serve tasty and delicious Bombay food. We only like the Audubon one Bombay Dhabba. ?“
“Tiffin prepared the order as required since it was a kids event and we needed the curry to be as mild as possible. They were there before time for delivery and that really helped us save a lot of time.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian selectionKid-friendliness: They prepare meals as required and requested“
