Based on the reviews, Ekta Indian Cuisine offers a combination of excellent food, service, and prices. It is not fancy, just delicious and a great value, and is considered the best Indian food in Philadelphia. There are great options for vegetarians, and the paneer mangoli is a particular stand-out. However, some dishes have been disappointing. The Gobi Manchurian lacked spice and flavor and was starchy. The chicken in the Chicken Tikka Masala has been tough instead of tender. The naan was not a favorite, and one dish had mostly sauce with little paneer. Despite this, many have visited several times and never been disappointed.
