“Delicious, nutritious, and healthy vegan food, tons of various drinks, plus they hold events regularly. Great spot for locals and folks just passing through.Dietary restrictions: Very mindful of various allergies.Kid-friendliness: Various kids books and coloring books“
“Came here for a Valentine’s Day tasting menu and was blown away. My partner picked the restaurant and I went in blind, knowing nothing. Incredible experience. The food was outstanding and made right in front of us. Max is a wonderful chef who worked magic to provide an incredible tasting menu by himself. Will be going back, and bringing friends.A very clear example of “you get what you pay for”.“
“This is our favorite restaurant in the city, possibly in the world. No matter what your diet is, you will be amazed by the delicious and creative plant-based offerings. Rachel's immense talent in the kitchen is surpassed only by her warmth and generosity as a host, and the service of her staff is equally exceptional. If you ever have a chance to experience a meal at Miss Rachel's Pantry, I will personally guarantee your complete satisfaction!Bon appetite!Vegetarian options: vegan everything“
“Just enjoyed "Rueben's Cousin Ruth," featuring seitan salami and vegan Gouda with sauerkraut on rye. So good! Very nice family working the counter and food prep, and playing some kick ass Nina Simone remixes. Super happy I discovered this place.“
“Picked this as a random meetup place for a friend driving through. It was Ah-maze-ing! I wasn't a huge fan of the "wings" .. but they were good. the texture wasn't expected but the flavor was perfect. I had the philly philly mushroom cheese steak. BAYBEE!! I think that may be my new go to for a cheesesteak. I kid you not. It was awesome. My friend loved the wings and had the crabcake. For dessert... we actually ordered the pineapple upside-down pancake. With icecream. Not sure what voodoo they do but this is bot your average vegan place.“
“Giving 5 stars because Dotty's is excellent at what they do... Even if many of the flavors are over the top and I don't actually like them. LoLI'm really loving the savory doughnuts though! I didn't think that they would be as good as they have been. :-)“
“I’ve eaten at a very vegan spot in the area, including the city like Vedge, Monster Vegan etc. and THIS RIGHT HERE is the best of them all, hands down. Everything on the menu is incredible! Legitimately perfect, my only qualm is I wish they were open more!! The Cesar salad with chicken and wings are sooooo delicious.“
“I've had other vegan pizzas before, and while some have been delicious, they did not have that NY pizza crust that I grew up eating. Their plain cheese pizza with added mushroom topping was just like having a slice from a regular NY pizzeria! The crust was so good and the cheese and toppings were decadent and yummy.“
“First time at this location. I found parking outside on the street. Nice and clean on the inside. Friendly service. Menu is easy to read. I have a variety of food that's made to order, but they also have grab and go in a fridge, including dessert options.I had a BLT and it was absolutely amazing. Dining in option available.“
“Delicious, ? ? spicy, savory. Vegan or not the food is wowzers! This time we got jerk chicken platter and BBQ chicken platter with sides of sweet potato, plantains, collard greens and cabbage. My husband asked more than once is this "chicken?" Soooo good.“
“Hibiscus. There’s no other place to get vegan food in West Philly. Period. The curry chickpea wrap, salmon wrap, and Jamaican tofu are my absolute favorites. All of their juices and smoothies are so fresh and delicious!! They have these new jackfruit patties that are packed with flavor and delicious curry seasoning. I’ve been coming here since middle school, and they never disappoint. It can be a little crowded in the afternoons but the food is absolutely worth it. Most people order out but I always enjoy dining in and listening to the music. Definitely come visit and try it out!Parking: Parking is good depending on the time of day you come“
“I loved the crab cake sandwich and garlic parmesan fries. Also had an amazing milkshake. It’s a little expensive though. I love that they have free Narcan, test strips, and menstrual supplies in the bathroom. Staff were all really nice! There’s some bar seating downstairs and ample tables upstairs.“
“I have eaten and had takeout from this spot a few times over the last two years . The food is always fresh and taste delicious as it is made to order. If you have a time limit place your order ahead of your arrival as it will take some time to prepare your meal and some dishes take a little longer than others to make .Overall the ambience, food and drinks are great.I will definitely continue coming here when I need a good healthy meal for my family.“
“This is just more proof that Little Moirs is the best food in town. Differs from Food Shack and Leftovers but not one iota of deliciousness loss. BEST ever quick lunch and if you skip catering for the holidays or a celebration you are seriously losing out!“
“As others say, the breakfast sandwiches are perfectly delicious. Our coffees were equally tasty. Everything was served hot and on nice dinnerware. There were a half dozen tables along with a long counter with stools looking out over the street. Great place to chill, savor, study, hang. Loved it!“
“I stopped in last week looking for a smoothie but walked out with a juice to try instead. I had The Truth juice and it was delicious! I will be back to try more items. I can't believe how long this establishment has been here and I have driven right by.Friendly staff and plentiful parking.“
“1) If you are reading this in Feb of 2023, they have an amazing $8.99 price for ALL salads with the use of their reusable bowl program!2) I really love this location. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff are prompt and friendly (even when it has obviously been a long day. Be kind to folks in customer-facing positions!)3) I've been going here for years and I plan to continue doing so for as long as I work in the area. Best wishes to Angie and everyone else at Just Salad :)“
“New Dehli serves good, authentic Indian food. The menu rotates from day to day but is similar when going on the same day of the week. Tuesdays have a similar menu as do the other days of the week.Staff is constantly replenishing food and getting the buffet area clean. A couple added bonuses is that they include various chutneys and Indian chai as well as simple salad components. The restaurant is definitely worth taking checking out if you like Indian food.Vegetarian options: Half the buffet is vegetarian.“
“Nestled in a so-so neighborhood is a nice, inviting place called All the Way Live. Apparently, there is/was more than one of these locations, but when I look on their website, there is only this location currently. I was eating with mostly a vegan group of people and learned about how my interests differed greatly from theirs and learned to appreciate the different vegan spectrum levels more and to realize that there is more of a spectrum. Being a raw vegan is a whole nother level and while I am open to this kind of food, I wouldn't want to restrict myself to this lifestyle as it would be too stressful and unenjoyable for me. The group seemed to be a fan of this place, and I am no exception to that. Many didn't like Vedge at all whereas I did, one or two said Monster Vegan could consider charging more which i disagree with even though I haven't made it there yet, Su Xing seems to get respectable ratings by all, Charlie's is mixed but I am a fan personally. If vegan meat tastes too much like the real thing, this turns off a significant number of vegans. For a non-vegan foodie like myself, or possibly vegans strict to their diets that miss meat might appreciate this type of food accessibility. Even though the ingredients here are all raw vegan (to start), they are made flavorful for a more healthy experience. The apple cake I had here had a different texture than your typical American cake. I believe it was layers of fuji apple itself and it was made moderately sweet- not overly sweet like a typical American pastry. The candied squash I had here was fine with the unexpected salad to accompany it, but i didn't feel the candied part of it per se. The mushroom "cheesesteak" I didn't feel was really much of a vegan cheesesteak, but it was still flavorful enough with actual mushrooms and veggies within a roll. The prices are on the higher side but seemed appropriately priced too. The ginger lime drink I had tasted natural but flavorful. Pricy, but flavorful and refreshing. As to the reviewers who were frustrated by the place closing with no proper notification, that is very frustrating. I get it's a local place, but those kind of details are important to at least have on your website- something within the store's control. Somewhat ironically, my group was here because the Nile nearby was closed on this particular day only. This was on their Instagram. During my time here, my group asked me out of 10, how would I rate the cake. I said 9 or 10 at the time and don't regret that. They were surprised by such a high rating. I haven't had too many specific vegan cakes myself nor do I need to specifically try to overindulge myself in cakes. I was a bit overwhelmed to try to review on the spot but felt it was my duty to try to because I have been writing many reviews currently. Also, I see that it takes me time to think about all these things in my reviews like this one here. This review would have been too much to tell a person in-person. After further prior review investigation and more thought, 10% is high for credit card surcharge and there should be more transparency on that beforehand if not displayed well. 5% would probably still allow a slight profit but also be more appropriate and reasonably easy to calculate I think. Also, because of the area this is in, one could argue maybe the prices need to be tempered down. This is specialty too and it is all quite debatable.“
“Soo im not a Vegan but this place is making me think hard about being a Vegan. REAL BAD! I didnt really know what to order. Everything looked so good. So, I read the reviews and decided to get the Chick'n cheezsteak and Cheese fries ($24). O.M.G! Best decision ever. This was better than your typical regular chicken cheesesteak. In my opinion it was wayyy better! Very flavorful with every bite. Aint no way its Vegan lol. The Fries were good too, seasoned well and the vegan cheese was very good too. Just WOW! I will be back forever lmbo. Keep up the good work! Absolutely Delicious!“
“Not enough words for how AMAZING HipCityVeg is! ?✨ ALL VEGAN fast food? Done right? Yes, this is it! Delicious fast food style choices include burgers, chicken, fries & milkshakes. The inside is bright & cheery. Always amazing service. Food is so fresh, so delicious, just perfect! Highly recommend their fried “chicken” sandwhich as that’s what got them famous. Super massive, crispy “chicken” (vegan) with a wonderful bun, toppings & their ranch is mind blowing. Their “nuggets” are also great to grab! Our meat eater friend who tagged along commented how he didn’t even know it was mock chicken. ALSO- their sweet potato fries are the best I’ve ever had- no joke. Seriously, don’t skip this spot!“
“This place was surprisingly great!! The tofu general Taos was incredible as was the boba, veg dumplings, lo mein, and veg spring rolls. Only odd thing was the restaurant kinda smelled like cats or something when you walked in. Staff was great and really enjoyed the food. Oh also loved the wonton soup!Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu and veg optionsKid-friendliness: Chill environment- nothing fancy“
“Sue was a great server!! She was super prompt and attentive. The menu was straight forward and had delicious and diverse options for food diets, which was great for my gluten allergy. There was a GF key lime tart for dessert!! And the noodles were fantastic.Dietary restrictions: Gluten“
“Staff is usually nice, it can be pretty busy during meal times but not too bad otherwise. I enjoy the customizable option on the menu and that they have tons of healthy options. I love the bean burger and the Caesar salad. Not really a restaurant place more of a takeout or grab a quick lunch spot.“
