“Good when it's good but not consistent lately, sometimes the bagels are overcooked a little and end up less chewy. When they are made well its the best bagel around. I really like their whitefish salad and veggie cream cheese on an everything bagel. Tasty especially if you like garlic.“
“I could rave about the food and drinks here all day, every day. My friend and I ordered the Plato Mixto to share and I had the Mahi Mahi tacos for my entree. Soooo good. We sat at the bar with Silvia, the bartender, and she made the BEST mango habanero margarita. Ambiance is great and staff is lovely.“
“The only Thai place I will order from in the entire Philadelphia vicinity. The best staff. The best food. The best experience. I will forever give JJ Thai my business and always recommend them to friends & family. By the way, if your server is Air, be prepared because she is the absolute best server I have came across in any restaurant. I worked in the service industry myself, and to come across someone like Air is truly a blessing. She is so friendly, goes above and beyond, and always ensures the best customer service. Thank you JJ Thai and thank you Air for continuous unforgettable experiences.“
“We went on NYE and did their NYE special. I think it was worth it. Good portions, tasty food, and lots of options/variety. I definitely enjoyed the steak. My friend enjoyed the fish. We would definitely go back again and recommend. The customer service was great. It was a bit tight size wise a table for two was a bit tight but like i said it was fine. We thoroughly had a good experience. It’s byob so that’s a huge plus!“
“Superb service and phenomenal food! Fun atmosphere for a quick bite, after work wind down, date night, or time with friends. Excited for the live music and other events.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options that will satisfy all cravings.Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan options! Chef is crazy cool and accommodating.“
“Awesome experience. Very clean, open and overall fantastic. The dogs had plenty of room to roam and were pleasant. Both the waitstaff and management were fantastic and the food is amazing. Best brussels sprouts I have ever had, and that should tell you about the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!“
“Bonkers.Pastries (Leak & Feta Croissant, Bananas Foster Bun) were a perfect balance of crazy crisp and chewy. Savory or sweet, they get it right.Fagioli was delicious and a perfect partner to the sandwiches. As a hybrid (veg/meat) couple, appreciated the make your own Egg Sandwich. Minor structural issues as one reviewer mentioned, but totally worth the engineering!Ordered via delivery and everything was thoughtfully packaged.“
“Hey, folks, just gonna share some thoughts on Asad's Hot Chicken. Been around for a bit now in West Philly, and gotta say, those two-piece BIG OLE chicken fingers with fries? Yeah, they're kinda hitting different. I mean, you wouldn't expect much, just some chicken and fries, right? But these chicken fingers? They've got this subtle heat, this crunch that's kinda addictive. And the fries? Simple, but slightly spicy. It gives old bay-ish seasoning, but they just work, you know? Service? It serves. And the vibe at Asad's? It's cool, laid-back. Like, you walk in, and it's like, "Yeah, I could hang here for a bit...just a little. lol (Not the biggest place and there's no chairs or tables. Strictly pick-up.) So, if you're ever in the area and feeling peckish, might as well swing by Asad's Hot Chicken. Give those two-piece chicken fingers with fries a shot. Can't hurt, right? What's your fave hot chicken spot?“
“This has been my go-to bakery since I lived in Philly! Always a great selection & variety of items with the ability to try something different each time you visit. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and will keep coming back! Also some great gluten-free and vegan options there as well.“
“Bao Nine is such a cute place to eat at. Thankfully, the food matches the atmosphere! The food is fresh, light, and delicious. The prices are great and the combo options make it easy to try a little of everything. I enjoyed my first time at Bao Nine and will surely be going back whenever I'm in the neighborhood.“
“Absolutely thrilled with my recent visit to South Philadelphia Tap Room! The highlight of my meal was, without a doubt, their Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The soup was a perfect blend of tangy and creamy, with just the right amount of seasoning to elevate the fresh tomato flavor. Paired with a golden, crispy Grilled Cheese that was oozing with melty cheese goodness, it was comfort food at its finest. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff only added to the exceptional dining experience. A must-visit spot for anyone craving a classic with a gourmet twist!“
“First time at this location. I found parking outside on the street. Nice and clean on the inside. Friendly service. Menu is easy to read. I have a variety of food that's made to order, but they also have grab and go in a fridge, including dessert options.I had a BLT and it was absolutely amazing. Dining in option available.“
“Beth picked this place out for us to dine at. She and her late husband would eat here when in was in swedeland. They liked it. Now I like it too. Great food, wait staff and the owner very gracious. We will be back! Military discount honored with military ID. A beautiful step back in time!“
“I ran in to pick up takeout for after soccer. I did not want to leave! I wanted my husband to join me from Jersey! We are definitely coming back. Angel, the bartender was very friendly and accommodating. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The place was romantic and cool and chill all at the same time I did not catch the name of the performer tonight (Monday 3/18), but he was playing Classics adding to the atmosphere : Ring of Fire, Wagon Wheel, I’m on Fire.“
“I have been going here since they opened. I really do love the food, drinks, and the fun interior. The service however always leaves something to be desired. The people are friendly but absent. I often have to wait to even be asked if I want a drink let alone food to start. I am not sure if it is a problem with not enough staff or inexperienced staff. Overall, the staff needs to be more attentive to customers. The music choices are completely fine but please, please turn it down. I was torn between 3 or 4 stars. I went with 4 bc there really is so much potential here. Bottom line, increase attentiveness and decrease the music volume and we got a phenomenal restaurant!“
“Came with a group of 5 on Sunday at the end of brunch and had such a great experience. The food was top notch, the brussels, artichokes, ravioli, risotto and tortellini were some of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. The service was also fantastic! We will be back :)“
“Decided to travel here for an impromptu late lunch last Tuesday. We've been here before because The Landing Kitchen offers so much more than great food and beverage selections. It also is home to such an accessible space overlooking the Schuylkill (skoo-kill) River. It sits across from Manayunk and can be accessed by walking bridge that spans the river. There are walking paths along the river and at The Landing Kitchen outdoor space there is a bocce court, ping pong table, corn hole, a giant Connect 4 game and other items. There is protected dining outside and also propane heaters and a fire pit strategically located. Back to food, my wife enjoyed their signature chicken sandwich and I opted for a bowl of outstanding Chorizo Corn Chowder and the TLK Burger. Chased it down with a Workforce IPA from King of Prussia and it too was an outstanding IPA. The Landing Kitchen also offers wine and cocktails, along with various coffee offerings as well. In season it really gets crazy busy, so now is a great time to pay a visit. They do breakfast sandwiches and other offerings as well. Salads and sides are equally satisfying. Cheers.Vegetarian options: I noticed a number of items that would be the perfect option. Simply check out the changing menu online.Parking: There is a small lot and there is the much larger lot that also services The Landing Kitchen, its more refined sister restaurant, LARK (that sits on the top floor of The Residence Inn that is all part of the complex). We have also dined at Lark while staying at the Residence Inn. It's a win-win.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor games, walking paths and the bridge across to Manayunk which features protected walking lanes. The bridge is basically used by cyclists.Wheelchair accessibility: Getting into inside seating is accessible. To go outdoors I believe you have to go back outside and simply swing around the corner of TLK to the riverside of the property to the outdoor seating and activity area.“
“My go-to in the food court! They have the sweetest staff. Although the food may seem pricy, they give a GREAT portion that could last two meals. Fish is fresh, and they load your bowl up pretty well. Love their boba as well - I usually stick to the fruit teas, but you get a lot for the price, and it’s really good :)“
“Best burgers in the area. Hands down. Extremely creative options with fresh ingredients. The staff has also always been accommodating to my wife’s Dairy Free diet as well. Will be back and will continue to order from their carry out location too.Dietary restrictions: My wife is Diary free and the staff was took it seriously. They mostly knew how to navigate the menu for us, but was more than happy to confirm with the chef.“
“⭐️4.5 - Amazing food that was incredibly unique! Only reason I can’t give 5 full stars is due to the atmosphere/ambiance.?Absolutely loved the food and wide variety of unique options.?Wonderful service. Restaurant was packed but we felt that the server was still attentive and didn’t rush us.? Get the mystery seltzers!! So fun. Happy hour deals are *okay* - 3⭐️. We realized that not everything on the happy hour menu is actually discounted.?Restaurant needs a better playlist! Or at least louder music. The atmosphere was a bit off. You could too easily hear neighboring conversations.“
“We had a good time here. Food was awesome. Our server was excellent. The only issue I had was the tipping situation. I was with a party of 6. We normally tip good. But this place takes out 20%. . I don't like a place telling me what to tip. That's not how that works. 80 dollars in a tip. Tipping how much is up to the customers.“
“Given the number of various establishments at this location that have come and gone over the last few decades, the fact that Vibrant has now been here well over two years speaks for itself. The Rittenhouse Square neighborhood was relatively coffee-free for years, and thankfully several places have popped up recently. This is the best of the lot. Coffees and baked goods are consistently excellent. Baristas are usually pleasant. Unless money isn’t a concern for you, however, be advised that a regular plain coffee is around $4, and prices go up from there, so Vibrant is not the best place to frequent often. The space itself is pretty tiny, there’s no real room to sit inside, which leads to lines out the door every weekend morning and when there’s an event going on in the Square. There are some small tables outside the entrance on Locust Street. That’s it, so by necessity business is mostly takeout. Worth it for an occasional treat/splurge.“
“First time checking this place out. The young people that work here provided very good customer service. The soft vanilla ice cream was good as well as the cookie dough hard ice cream and vanilla soft ce cream with sprinkles.I would recommend this place. Another bonus is that this place has a drive through and some parking spaces.“
“Wow! This place is amazing, if not a little loud. Food, service(by Brian! And others) was excellent! We had the Margherita pizza with fennel sausage on half; tomato sauce is smooth, lower acid and very rich tasting. The crust, with its smoky, blackened edges is over the top! The paper & crayons were a big hit with the little one.“
“Was there for a birthday party today and everything was excellent. Wrist bands to designate those on the party tab and an overall good time. Beer was good, on the same level as all the other local craft brewerys. We will be back with friends.“
“We have been coming more regularly the past few months. All of the patrons have been super nice and welcoming. The bartender, Austin, has helped us pick beers on draft and for the custom 4 packs you can create. There is a bearded gentleman, I believe he is a brewer, always stops by to say hi/check in which makes this place even more welcoming. We have been enjoying our visits and decided to join their Hop Syndicate which is their Mug club. We cannot wait to visit throughout the year !“
“Great variety, exceptionally friendly for all ages or paw count, very welcoming to folks just looking to use the coffee shop, has a great event space that they also use for things like yoga and community events. All without being crazy on prices. The same event space works out perfectly for large groups to watch games. They seem to be constantly experimenting, but consistently have a few standout beers always on the ready. Does an amazing job organizing with local food trucks to have several options for customers for most of the day!Very happy to have a place like this serving on the outskirts of Philly, where friends from the city, locals, and those outside the city can easily meet via car, bike, or a short run!“
“Sabrina’s has become my go to spot for breakfast, brunch, and lunch in my area. The food and atmosphere are always outstanding, whether sitting at a table inside, outside, or at the bar. The service is also great - our waitress recently at the Art museum location, Lauren, was very attentive and friendly, helping us navigate the specials and enjoy our experience. Highly recommend!“
“The Barnes Foundation Garden Restaurant is a gem! Beautiful setting and outstanding food and service. The Salade Nicoise was better than I had in Nice on a recent trip! Hats off to chef Michael O’Meara. The choice of greens and dressing superb. We came down from Northern Jersey, joined the museum , and will be back soon to the restaurant. Highly recommended. Locals are fortunate to have access to such a lovely restaurant. Chatted with a local proprietor at the Reading Market after and she concurred.“
“Pat, the man!! First time there tonight and came due to closeness of location and reviews… but blackened chicken salad and wings to go were both A+Pat’s presence and convos were representation of what a local bar should be! When you walk into a bar and don’t feel awkward to hang by yourself and enjoy a moment… this is the place to be. I will be back soon, thanks for a great time!“
“Love the vibe at Bartaco! It’s a Thurs at 5pm and the bar & restaurant are full - families, singles, friends & co-workers all enjoying a meal. The food is fresh — you can taste it. They’re squeezing lemons & limes at the bar for your drinks. Fresh limes with the guacamole & chips. The flavors and selection are unique. I’m normally a meat & potatoes person but when I’m looking to adventure and expand beyond my standard….Bartaco fits the bill.“
“As a vegetarian, I often struggle to find meat-free brunch options that can compare to traditional items. Sidecar Bar is the best brunch i’ve had in Philly! I got the Hippy Benny and it was PHENOMENAL!!! The ingredients were fresh and the potatoes were incredible. I went with a large group and some other favorites were the pancakes, the breakfast flatbread, and the Texan Benny. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat while still remaining casual and family friendly. Our server was friendly and attentive and it was all around a great experience! Definitely make Sidecar Bar your next Philly food destination!“
“Honestly, I wasn’t even planning on writing a review, since I wasn’t expecting much. But the Cheesesteak blew me away. The steak was delicious and the cheese was hot and fresh. Service was quick too. Overall, this place gets five stars for shocking me.“
“Love it! Solid service, timely and efficient, great food and drinks. The insane genius who came up with the jalapeño bagel and Cacia’s everything roll deserve some type of award.Best breakfast sandwiches in Philly and officially approved by Beer Jesus!“
“Highly recommend this florist! Laura was awesome and personable! I called last minute for same day delivery and she went out of her way to make it happen ! Michelle has helped me in the past and I had the same experience ! They truly care and the arrangements are always perfect!“
“Zesty’s is our absolute favorite spot!Hands down the best restaurant on Main Street!! The food is always fresh and delicious! Highly recommend trying gyros, grilled octopus, Greek spreads, Greek salad, yellow fin tuna, steak, mussels!!! Staff is amazing and always great atmosphere!“
“So happy to see one of my favorite food trucks is back! Food still slaps after all these years. Love the chicken katsu, which is so crispy and juicy, and I enjoyed a delicious platter today. You can choose tacos, burrito, platter or a burger for the protein options. The peanut curry chicken over rice is also phenomenal but only available on Monday and Tuesday. I’ll be back soon for that plus some shrimp katsu. The folks on the truck couldn’t be nicer!“
“I don't know where to start, but for all of your needs, this is the place you'll want to go! The Nacho cheese chips are absolutely divine.. Perhaps the individual whom felt no effects might lack the enzymes in their liver that metabolizes thc. I'm a seasoned cannabis user. I have a high tolerance, and I use a lot of RSO, and these nacho cheese chips were amazing!!! These products most definitely contain thc.“
“Nice place. Super cool servers! Beer was good across the board. I even went back for seconds on the blueberry IPA and as a general rule I do not like IPAs. The only reason this place gets a four is because the food truck did not have kid friendly foods which caused our family to have to leave quickly. Love the dogs too!“
“I’ve been here a bunch of times but they keep adding new menu items to get excited for. They now offer rice bowls! Their banh mi’s are really good, the classic and pork skewer are my favorites! Nicely flavored meat with the right balance of fresh picked vegetables. The bread is crisp as it should be. Their drinks stay creative and exceptional! So many options you can even craft your own. I’ve tried nearly all of them and enjoyed every single on. Personal favs are the Thai sunset, lychee sunrise, and purple daze. The service is always amazing and really helpful, and you can dine in inside or outside or take out, order through an app to go. It’s casual and easy for a lunch break or really anytime!“
“Even in the middle of winter, this is a bright and sunny place to visit! Acai bowl was excellent, and their fruits are really fresh. Service was friendly too. Can't wait to try some other things off their menu -- they said that they make their own ice “
“Bonners is a great place for the entire family. Yes it’s true in the evening it’s also a great place for college parties which often happen and that’s a great thing too. But in the early evenings and other times it’s a great family oriented restaurant and bar. When you go there they make you feel as if you’re part of some thing. Food is good everything from basic pub fare like fish and chips and shepherds pie, hamburgers etc. They’ll make you whatever drinks you like! If you’re in the area of 23rd and Sansom and you’re looking for a neighborhood establishment this is a great choice!“
“Nice atmosphere, very good service, menu is small but includes a good variety of dishes. My husband loved his short ribs; my salmon was tasty, but there was too much salt in the risotto, pancetta, and vegetable side dish that comes with it. The glasses of Prosecco we had were very good.Tiramisu was ok.“
“The food is so good. This was my first time trying this place and I will definitely be back regularly. The restaurant is larger than it looks from outside, there is plenty of seating and parking was not a problem. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and the baklava cheesecake. Do yourself a favor and order 2 of the baklava cheesecakes. I regretted only ordering one when I got home.“
“I'm a certified effin beer geek. Hands downNothing better than ARS If you find something you like. Buy a bunchCan't count how many times I fell in love with one of their beers Went backAll sold out Small batch wizards is what they are - get there !!Often“
“Spectacular for what it is. It’s Guatemalan street food served with style but without affectation. I had the chicken taquitos, which were crispy, hot, and served in a very distinctive sauce. It’s presumably slightly more expensive than real street food just as it is fancier, but it’s hardly pricey. I just wish their portions were slightly larger.“
“The staff was absolutely amazing, Annie was super friendly and kind. Our first time visiting Philadelphia and she recommended several places to check out in brewery town. This place has a great selection of beer and lavish cocktails. The food was amazing, I really loved the pork burnt ends. The pho was delicious, fish and chips were nicely battered and tasty. I will be back and I recommend you give them a try!“
“Great locally owned coffee and plant shop! Seating is limited in the main area near all the plants, however, there is an upstairs with more seating but limited wall-plug space for charging devices if you plan on staying for a while. Coffee was also a bit pricy for the quality of the coffee.“
“I got the vegetarian sandwich and usually a caprese style sandwich gets soggy or has too much balsamic... not this sandwich. The bread was perfect and not soggy. It was definitely a lighter sandwich, but i would definitely get the is again.“
“They serve a demanding clientele who can afford to get their baked goods anywhere yet the place is always busy.In my experience over the last 20+ years they have never disappointed.Outstanding quality and reliable results every time.Prepare to be delighted. Their buttercream icing is sublime.Great service from nice people’s too.“
