Ambrosia Ristorante Reviews
Non-responsive owners. I emailed messaged and stopped in the restaurant three times. Guess they’re so busy that don’t need any new business.
My all time favorite Philly restaurant! Delicious food, amazing service, and the best atmosphere in Fitler Square! 10/10!
Warm and friendly, relaxed atmosphere. George I’ll assume the owner/manager, came out and chatted with us. Shared the history and that everything is made fresh like in your own kitchen and the pasta is mass daily. Very very perfectly seasoned and moist, everything ♥️ Thank you George. Max & Gary.

Ambrosia Ristorante is a lively and welcoming restaurant that offers delicious food and excellent service. The atmosphere is cozy, with a charming ambiance that has recently been enhanced by an expansion into the neighboring building. Guests often praise the friendly and attentive staff, including the warm welcome from hosts who make diners feel cared for.
The menu features a variety of flavorful dishes that consistently impress. Starters such as the complementary bread with special sun-dried tomato oil dip, crispy Brussels sprouts, and beets are highly recommended. The beet salad, made with two kinds of beets, is both beautiful and refreshing. The goat cheese served with dishes is light and perfectly whipped, avoiding the usual heavy or pungent taste. Main courses like the branzino are cooked tender with delightfully crispy skin, served over a bed of grilled corn. The chicken Milanese is considered one of the top options in the city, and the beef carpaccio is another standout, flavorful and well-prepared. Desserts such as the pistachio pannacotta with tart compote are well-balanced and nostalgic, showcasing a precise hand with flavors and textures.
Ambrosia offers great value with big-city prices that are surprisingly reasonable, and no extra charge for BYOB. The restaurant is bustling, with lots of tables and a friendly, often funny waitstaff, although during busy times service can be a little unpredictable. The ambiance is simple and cute, and while there is no music, the subdued chatter creates a cozy environment. Overall, Ambrosia Ristorante consistently delivers fresh, flavorful food and attentive service, making it a favorite spot for repeat visits.
