Nothing beats the complimentary chips with dipping sauce at Xolo. The margaritas are great too. The menu has all the classics with tasty fillings. The fajitas al pastor were tasty, if a little heavy on the pineapple. This restaurant has a good vibe and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
Want real Mexico City fare? Hit Xolo! We love their tacos, this time enjoying the shrimp which were succulent. Since we went for dinner and were adventurous, we tried the Conchinita Pibil, a stewed pork with outstanding subtle and surprising flavors including clove. I could rave about the food and drinks here all day, every day. My friend and I ordered the Plato Mixto to share and I had the Mahi Mahi tacos for my entree. Soooo good. We sat at the bar with Silvia, the bartender, and she made the BEST mango habanero margarita. Ambiance is great and staff is lovely.
