“This restaurant is, quite frankly, the epitome of charming. The decor is clearly done by hand, the painted stenciling slightly askew, the front window a darling mishmash of brocade and little sparkling candle-lamps and the odd hookah. A large mirror on the far wall stands like some magic portal in the back of a slightly chintzy bazaar, lending an airiness to the room along with the natural light from the wide front window. We were greeted by the proprietor, who learned all of his cooking from his mother and now shares the kitchen with his wife. Determined to ensure every visitor is treated to a flawless experience, he brought bottles of water and then proceeded to tour us through the menu, giving sound advice indeed on where to begin (and to end) the meal. Chatty and teasing, he is wonderful to talk to, but also knows when to vanish again and let you enjoy your food. And you Will.Sweet heaven. The caliber of the food brought to our table is far higher than a glance at the tables on the patio or the slightly drippy geometric patterns on the wall prepares you for. The plating was frankly lovely, and the flavours were absolutely to die for, from the lemony, garlicky eggplant to the sizzling, olive-studded chicken tagine. I came looking specifically for the pastilla, and the cinnamon-and-sugar-dusted, chicken and almond-stuffed pastry did not disappoint. Ultimately, the three of us could not finish everything, so a few scraps of leftovers, and a significant amount of baklava got packaged to go home. I recommend it, honestly, let the experience last as long as you can.So- We live hours south of this precious little place with its long couches and little round bolster pillows, but we Will be back. I'm sure I can find some sort of excuse in the area to make my way back up again.Vegetarian options: A significant portion of the menu is vegetarian, including nearly all of the appetizers, and several other options including a tagine and a falafel gyro. There are also fish options for those who are pescatarian.Parking: We were there early on a Sunday so found a spot reasonably easily, but it will probably be more difficult later in the day, and it is metered.Wheelchair accessibility: It's walk-out with no steps and can easily accommodate a wheelchair.“
“We stopped here with our two very young children, and it was delightful! The pizza and cheesy bread were delicious, but more importantly, the customer service was impeccable. (I think his name was Dan?) He was so friendly, and had funny ways of calling people up for their orders. His smile was contagious, and his positive attitude was such a refreshing ray of light in this all-too-often dark world!Thank you for a wonderful lunch; we will be back!“
“I have been waiting to try this and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. Let me tell you the salad was huge. Their portion size is amazing compared to their competitors saladworks, cava and greens. I customized my salad to what I like it comes with bread and then I added the cookie which was delicious:) I met the owner/manager who was willing to help people learn how to order and even helped clean up a table. The atmosphere is a quick healthy option with a warm feel. You can make two salads out of your meal!!“
“A regular stop for us after Tri-County Concerts' Emerging Artists, classical concerts. Always hospitable, friendly, respectful, and the food is excellent, plentiful, and displayed elegantly. The owner is truly a "Restauranteur" with Old World charm, concern, and makes you feel like loved and respected family. Fellini's of Bryn Mawr is cozy and a great spot for a romantic evening. Bellisimo!“
“What a great, local spot! I’d never had Peruvian food and our server (Christina) was incredible in guiding us through each section of the menu and the food was out of this world! The yuca and causas limenas were amazing, and the specialty chicken entree was out of this world - just really, really great flavors. Don’t skip dessert! An incredible experience all around. I also have a shellfish allergy they were awesome with accommodating!“
“I’ve been to other Cava locations, but I must say this one is the cream of the crop. Normally my order is a bit complicated, but Zaniah, Christina, and boy Joe really looked out for us. They were personable and very funny. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you again Zaniah, Christina, and Joe you guys are the best!!!“
“Great experience - but the hours clearly say they're open until 8pm on the door, I don't know why Maps is saying they're open until 9pm?Vegetarian options: There are a bunch of naturally vegetarian options, and any meats can be removed or replaced with vegetarian alternatives.Dietary restrictions: Great awareness of celiac disease as well as various dietary needs and allergies.“
“Edit: I received a response within minutes of my review and after a brief exchange the manager (or owner, I'm not sure) sent me a gift card as an apology. My wife and I ordered food tonight and it was AMAZING. My faith in the couch tomato has been restored!!! A former personal favorite of mine. When they hit their food is out of this world. But the miss rate is getting bigger and higher making it so that I now hesitate when I have a craving for my favorite pizza or salad. They used to be a once every two weeks option for me, now they're once every two months.“
“Don Mezcal was an incredible experience. Right as you walk in, you can feel the amazing atmosphere. The food and service are also amazing, and I was taken away by the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend Don Mezcal to someone, as it was amazing.“
