“It is rare for a brewpub to have vegan food, and I echo what others here have said about the quality and options. Owners are vegan and seemingly intend this to be sort of a vegan place with meat options without making it obvious, lol. Most pizzas can be made vegan, and the mushroom one comes drizzled with a black garlic aioli made with vegan mayo (I asked). Their flagship West Coast IPA is to die for. And the roasted broccoli appetizer was divine. Definitely a place to return to many times. The building is a former horse stable attached to a market, and we mistakenly went into the market first, but the pub is actually between the hotel and the market. Plenty of outside seating, not so much inside, so make a reservation. We went for lunch when it was not as busy. Very friendly cool staff. “We organized a meeting for our Tech Community here and had a great time! The management and staff did their best for us. The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere, which is perfect for talking and meeting people. Also, the kitchen is great with many different dishes for every taste. “We love this place. We live in Philly, but just stumbled on it one day. Maybe it’s the owner, but a visit there feels like a special occasion . The appetizer of pita with a variety of dips is incredible, and filling. Next to come are dishes of souvlaki, falafel, lamb brochettes, vegetables, rice and salad. “Honeygrow is a regular takeout spot for my family, especially for stir-fried noodles. The food is consistently delicious, portions are solid, and I think the price-to-quality ratio is very fair. I can usually feed myself, my wife, and my daughter for around $40.

The standard noodle options are all strong, and I’ll sometimes add double protein if I’m extra hungry. The seasonal specials are worth trying, too; the Chesapeake crab is a standout. They also have salads, yogurt options, and the brownie is delicious.

A big plus is the app, which is intuitive and helpful. The loyalty program actually pays off regularly, which I appreciate.

Just as important, the staff here has always been friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is a well-run chain with good ingredients, healthy options, fair pricing, and consistently good food. HG is a solid balance of convenience, value, and quality. Definitely recommend.“

“Going here is pleasurable in the sense that you have the opportunity to get the special kinds of foods that honeygrow offers but it's small and the seats and tables are all steel. There are some nice outside seating in a moderately busy area. It wasn't particularly busy when we were there but the food came out quickly. It was a clean establishment“

“This is the closest I've felt to an Italian pizzeria since... Italy. I was looking around the whole time I was eating like ... Am I really in the basement of the Comcast building?! Eating like this?! It is so unprepossessing, with the feel, service, and pizza of a genuine neighborhood pizzeria in Testaccio. From the attention to fresh, local ingredients to the casual but elegant vibe of the place and the handmade, complimentary biscotti with the espresso... I honestly teared up a little. It's so hard to find a comfortably elegant place with a thoughtful, concise menu, reasonablly sized portions, and reasonable pricing. The seasonal caprese salad with the local peaches was an explosion of flavor because everything was local and seasonal and handmade and simple and perfect. It's a little piece of Testaccio in downtown Philly.

“I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but this experience was especially frustrating. I placed a Grubhub order for a small white pizza from Santucci’s — a specific request that means a lot to my family. My son has special needs and a restrictive eating disorder, and this white pizza from Santucci’s is one of the only foods he’ll actually eat. I timed the delivery to make sure it would arrive by dinner, and when I opened the box and saw a regular red sauce pizza instead, I was heartbroken. Mistakes happen — I get that. What made this worse was how it was handled when I called the restaurant. A young woman who answered the phone was kind and apologetic, and I appreciated that. But after holding for over six minutes, I was passed to someone who immediately accused me of placing the order wrong. I had already double-checked my Grubhub receipt before calling — the order was placed correctly. I even had a screenshot as proof. When I was passed to the manager, I expected a little more compassion and accountability. Instead, I was met with indifference and more blame. I offered to send a screenshot to show the order was right on my end, but the manager refused to look at it and stood by their claim that I was the one at fault. Ironically, the first woman I spoke with had mentioned it looked like a system issue on their end — which made the gaslighting from management all the more frustrating. To be clear, this wasn’t just a minor inconvenience. When your child has very limited safe foods, and you make an intentional effort to get the one thing they will eat — only to have it messed up and then be blamed for it — that’s a big deal. The mistake was frustrating. The lack of accountability and empathy? Even worse. I’m incredibly disappointed with how this was handled and hope Santucci’s reflects on how to better support customers, especially when mistakes are made“
