“Found this gem not too long ago and I am so happy I did. It’s very close to my job and the food is delicious. Even better, the owners are very kind and make you feel welcomed. Very nice folks and this alone will keep me coming back.

“The Whitpain Tavern is my go to neighborhood bar and restaurant. Great food, friendly employees and some of the best cocktails out there. The bar has it's share of regulars and it is always fun to go in, have a drink and talk with everyone at the bar. Tina who works behind the bar during the day is one of the best bartenders out there. Friendly, attentive, remembers her customer's names and knows her craft. Pat and Alex the owners are hands on, there every day and take pride in their establishment. Two super nice people that get to know their customers. The Whitpain is like my Cheers and I look forward to my visits there each week.“

“I have been buying food from the Khan family for years now, and not only are they very kind people but they serve fantastic food! Huge platters with a free soda, and very affordable too. They also recently added menu items like samosa and kebab which most hala karts lack. Food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!“

“Chestnut Hill Brewing offers a cozy taproom that works especially well for groups of four. The brewery is attached to the Chestnut Hill Hotel and serves an upscale gastropub-style menu. The Bang Bang Broccoli hit the spot and was something a little different from what we normally order. Hopzs Brown Ale, was our favorite beer in the flight. Overall this is a great stop for good food and beer while staying at the inn or passing through into Philly.“

“We love this place. We live in Philly, but just stumbled on it one day. Maybe it’s the owner, but a visit there feels like a special occasion . The appetizer of pita with a variety of dips is incredible, and filling. Next to come are dishes of souvlaki, falafel, lamb brochettes, vegetables, rice and salad. They are known for outstanding baklava (even for those who think they don’t like baklava), AND chocolate mousse. We have brought relatives and friends here from Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg, and all were thrilled .“

“We have been buying Dominican food from Rancho for the last 3 years. Be it for special occasions, pick up, dine in, small and large portions and we have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and authentic Dominican, service is friendly, price is reasonable. We ordered our 2020 Christmas dinner and it was all we expected, arroz con gandules to die for, the pernil excellent as usual, sweet plantains perfectly fried. “Juice pod The Juice Pod Lansdale is my go to take out place! I call in my order so I don’t have to wait at the store. When I call, most often I’m addressed by “Hi Carrie — your usual?” How special to be greeted by name and they already know my order. This amazing employee, A is always so sweet and welcoming when I call or come into the store. She is the best and always brightens my day! Every time I arrive, my order is ready to go. My go to is the Knight Bowl (no Nutella with peanut butter) and my son always gets the dragonfruit bowl (and adds peanut butter). Their bowls are loaded with fillings and toppings! Their açaí bowls are so much better than any other bowl place around. Pro tip: Place your order ahead of time, pick up and enjoy! Oh and don’t forget to give them your phone number — every 10 orders and you have enough points for a free bowl.“
