Masala Kitchen: Kati Rolls & Platters is a reliable spot for flavorful Indian street food in University City. The food is good, well cooked, and tastes authentic. Seasoning is spiced to perfection, and the quality is solid—nothing tastes like yesterday’s reheated food. The Chicken Biryani can be too spicy for some, but the Chicken Masala is really good and enjoyable even for those not very spice tolerant. The MK Special with Lamb and Chicken and the rolls are absolutely delicious; the roll is stuffed with meat and a great value for the price. The naan is super fluffy and flavorful. The menu is not huge, but what they do, they do well. The vibe is relaxed, casual, and bustling, with a younger crowd. Service is fast, and the people who work there are very nice with great customer service. For something sweet, do not skip the mango lassi—it is chilled, creamy, and tastes like a dessert.
