Went in out of curiosity and to see what was available. My partner and I have recently been cooking a coconut milk butter chicken recipe due to her dairy and gluten allergies but it is such a lengthy process I was hoping to find a place that we could get it on demand. Spoke to Rani and as it turns out they have a gluten free and dairy free option for every day of the week!! I stumbled across this place on DoorDash and was skeptical by the prices………Well was I wrong. It has become a weekly staple in life. I’ve tried almost everything but by far the butter chicken is the standout dish. Have it with the garlic naan and you will not be disappointedIf you ever get a chance to pick it up you’ll get to meet the owner who is behind the counter serving up your dishes for you. We have gotten takeout here at least once a month since we moved to Mt Airy in 2018. Tasty Indian dishes, incredibly consistent, reasonable prices, great people. The woman who is the chef is a treasure, and the woman who runs the front is quite funny and pleasant. Very grateful to have this place.
