Worst food I’ve ever had delivered. Didn’t manage to get half of my food even in the delivery. It was cold, slimy, disgusting.

We have gotten takeout here at least once a month since we moved to Mt Airy in 2018. Tasty Indian dishes, incredibly consistent, reasonable prices, great people. The woman who is the chef is a treasure, and the woman who runs the front is quite funny and pleasant. Very grateful to have this place.

Went in out of curiosity and to see what was available. My partner and I have recently been cooking a coconut milk butter chicken recipe due to her dairy and gluten allergies but it is such a lengthy process I was hoping to find a place that we could get it on demand. Spoke to Rani and as it turns out they have a gluten free and dairy free option for every day of the week!! Rani and the lady in the kitchen were both so helpful in making sure they could accommodate such limiting dietary restrictions. Took home the dairy free gluten free option of the day which was some nicely spiced meatballs and rice. We enjoyed it tremendously! Looking forward to coming back to try the recipes for the other days!! I only got a small container so It was like $6 for a whole meal!Vegetarian options: A different option every day !!Dietary restrictions: Delicious dairy free, vegetarian, and gluten free options every day !!!

I stumbled across this place on DoorDash and was skeptical by the prices………Well was I wrong. It has become a weekly staple in life. I’ve tried almost everything but by far the butter chicken is the standout dish. Have it with the garlic naan and you will not be disappointedIf you ever get a chance to pick it up you’ll get to meet the owner who is behind the counter serving up your dishes for you. She’s always lovely and greets you with a smile.A real gem in the neighborhood!!! Eat here!!!

If you want Indian food and you don't have a lot of money, this is the place to go. They have soup kitchen quality of food. Indian food uses bold spices to make it flavorful and unique. This place uses third rate quality of spices. Also, the service is very condescending.Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian food.

I can’t even give them a try, after calling a bunch of times they just never answer the phone…Hours that they are supposed to be open … and if they are not open there is nothing that tells customers…

I've been looking for an amazing Indian restaurant and now I've found it. This is the real deal. Their menu does fluctuate so you have to deal with that - but they are reasonable and very delicious. There are some regular dishes always on the menu: Saag paneer, amazing. Butter chicken, amazing. Chana masala, amazing. As someone who grew up in NJ - I ate amazing Indian food all my life at reasonable prices. Then I moved away and had difficulty finding another place that was equivalent. Up until finding this place, I've had my family bring me Indian literally from NJ. Not joking. Yes this may not be mainstream like a lot of restaurants around here serve (aka with a lot of heavy cream) but this is the closest I've had to growing up in NJ. So if you like your dishes with a lot of heavy cream, not the place for you. Prices - you can't beat it. Taste - you can't beat it. It is a little bit of a hole in the wall and you may need to take out but I don't mind that.

Not sure who the older woman was at the front desk when I walked in but she was VERY rude. She did not greet me, so I spoke first and before I could speak she angrily put her hand up to cut me off and walked to the back where she continued to prep orders. Thankfully someone else came forward to tend to me and apologized on her behalf. Very unprofessional.

Price is nice and food is good ? Most things are just as good or better than Tiffin.

I love Jyoti. I like that they have a limited menu and that it’s cheaper than most places. However I just found a shard of some type of hard plastic in my take out dish. I am very disappointed.
