I get take out from here once or twice a month (usually burritos). Always solid. I lived in south Philly for 15 years (Mexican food Mecca) and this place does a great job. It's no frills, but nice fresh salsa and guac, everything always cooked right. And they are super nice.
I ordered tacos and nachos for take out from the restaurant. I was surprised because the prices seemed higher than average than taco spot. I paid a total of $25 or so, and I was not satisfied with the food. The meat was unseasoned and it was very disappointing. I added my own flavoring and home and it helped. I rarely regret food purchases but I felt like I was played after this purchase.

Met a friend from college here. We both were impressed with how fresh and tasty the food was. My colleague had gluten free restrictions and the waiter quickly offered options for both the appetizer and their meal. We shared the gluten free appetizer and I didn't feel I missed out on a thing. All table manners aside (lol) really was a lick the dish clean type of delish.
