“I brought my dog here 2x so far and we absolutely love it here! The food is AMAZING! The staff are super friendly, attentive and go out of their way to get to know you and your pup to make sure everyone is having a great experience. We drive 1hr each way each time just to come here! My 5month old puppy loves coming here and getting the socialization he needs from humans and dogs alike!“

“My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch on our way to La Push. The crab dip was hands down the best I’ve eaten. I was a tad disappointed they were out of the fresh albacore tuna melt but the blackened shrimp tacos I ordered instead were delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed the fish and chips. Miranda, our server, was friendly, prompt, and very helpful with both the drink menu and food options. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in Port Angeles.“

“Absolutely thrilled with my recent visit to South Philadelphia Tap Room! The highlight of my meal was, without a doubt, their Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The soup was a perfect blend of tangy and creamy, with just the right amount of seasoning to elevate the fresh tomato flavor. Paired with a golden, crispy Grilled Cheese that was oozing with melty cheese goodness, it was comfort food at its finest. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff only added to the exceptional dining experience. A must-visit spot for anyone craving a classic with a gourmet twist!“

“Came in to watch the game and was surprised by the food and service. Lo my bartender was very patient and courteous throughout. I had the dry rub ranch wings OMG! Crunchy and seasoned on the outside and juicy on the inside. Great dipping sauce as well which added to the layers of flavor. My burger was the Swiss with bacon and a variety of mouth watery inclusions. Smash burger seasoned just right. I tried the love hazy IPA and it paired wonderfully. I'd definitely recommend and will return and try other items. Thanks Lou!Oh get the fries for sure!“

“different cheesesteak #1137. Great neighborhood bar. I think the whole neighborhood was there. Nice woman next to me got the happy hour $10 draft/burger special. Guys on the other side were having a few drinks. Good crowd. Chef put a lot of time and special sauce into this cheesesteak. It came with very good house made potato chips.“

“As a cheesesteak enthusiast, I was anxious to try the "Jawn" advertised as a pound of prime ribeye on a freshly kneaded roll with caramelized onions and Cooper Sharp. The roll was fresh and warm, and yeasty, but more like pizza crust than the high end Italian rolls one finds at the best cheesesteak joints. Onions were perfect. Cheese was kind of skimpy. The beef was high quality and free of gristle..but a POUND? Maybe 8oz. MAX before cooking. I've eaten several pound steaks, and this ain't one. Fries were very high quality frozen, served piping hot in a cute mini fry-basket. Wife's wings were crispy and didn't get soggy in the plentiful hot sauce. Drinks are very reasonable and staff attentive and friendly. I guess the "Jawn" is a kind of novelty, and the price may reflect the beef grade as opposed to weight. Adorable atmosphere. I'll return, but try the Italian dishes where I suspect they excel.“

“I definitely recommend Wolf Burger! I got Fries and the BBQ bacon ranch burger and the flavors were out of this world! Roll was great, the cheese on the burger was melted perfectly, and overall the burger had a really unique flavor! The black and blue burger was super good too! Super happy to have tried this place and definitely will be back!“

“On my first ever visit to Philidelphia, I chose to try this place (the nachos looked good on the online menu). When I walked in, the place had an intriguing atmosphere. It was self seating - I didn't see the menus on the table, and the server noticed, so, he grabbed me one and brought over a water, before I even requested anything! I ordered the Nachos with the spicy (not hot, just flavored with spices) chicken - it was So good and the bowl was suitable for 2 or more to enjoy. The plating was intriguing! It was Delicious! While I was eating, the server made me feel welcome, joking that I wasn't the Only one who didn't notice the menus (another party that came in missed them, too!). I returned afew days later with my husband, had to show him some of the city and have him try the nachos - we both Inhaled them! Despite a Large party being there, the server came right over with waters, got our order and had it brought out quickly. We were impressed with the service, despite the large party. I Highly reccomend this place! Try the nachos!! The giant pretzels look delicious, too!“

“Varga Bar is good, but it used to be great, and I miss that. They still have a great beer selection, often a cask ale on tap, and good food. But gone are our beloved jumbo lump crab cheese fries that, paired with their delicious house "ketchup", justified a trip to Varga Bar on their own (and that's coming from someone who doesn't even like crab). They've been replaced with a tater tot poutine, which is fine, but not amazing the way the crab fries were. Their happy hour discount used to apply to every beer on their extensive draft list, and now there's only a handful of beers that qualify. As a result, Varga Bar went from being great to merely good, from a place where we'd always go on every trip into the city to a place where we might stop by on occasion.“

Bartenders were very friendly and attentive, additionally the wings were great. Will definitely return.Parking: It is south philly so obviously parking is a bit challenging, but I was able to find plenty of spots about a block and half or so away.“

“This place checks off all the boxes. Great staff, great atmosphere and great prices. One of the few places that I will change my schedule or go out of my way for. Today I decided on the Cheesesteak Quesadilla and House Fries served with Spicy Ketchup and Chipotle Mayo. If you are ever in South Philly do not I repeat DO NOT hesitate to stop in!
