Very nice atmosphere. Most of the food we had was very good. The beef tenderloin appetizer was amazing as was the meatballs. However my view pasta was lacking flavor salt and pepper..
Always great

The ambiance was nice. The food was great. I would say the price point is too high. You can get a better bang for your buck elsewhere. Maybe for a special occasion or a date.

Never disappointed although rather expensive. Really amazing beautiful interior and porch design given that the outside looks like a storage warehouse.

We ordered a pizza and rigatoni with meatball. Even though I was there to pick up 10 minutes ahead, the food was cold. It was mediocre quality at best and certainly not worth the price. Difficult to imagine going back

We love this restaurant —- it is close by and easy to navigate for my elderly mother in law. We were even more impressed tonight when the manager “made things right” when they forgot the chicken on my son’s pizza!! Little gestures like that will definitely keep us coming back!!! Thanks, you guys are great!!!

Decent service terrible food. If you want autethenic Italian food please go downtown to d ‘anions. Calamai was breaded and undercooked. Stay away from here unless you want to get sick.

Some of the most authentic, fresh Italian cuisine in Pittsburgh. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful atmosphere.

I'm very disappointed with my check. Last Sunday I took my wife, my son and his sweetheart for lunch to Il Pizzaiolo, right here in the Fox Chapel Area. My wife is the real fan of this place. She told me one of her friend told her about a surcharge for using Credit Cards. When I ordered the check, as a fact, there was a $6.90 surcharge for our meal. For those of you not knowing it, one of the operative cost, included when calculating the sale price for a plate in any, ANY RESTAURANT, in the USA is a percentage for using credit cars. So, from the very beginning the restaurant has already compensated for the customer using credit card, so why the double dipping into my pocket for using a credit card??? You are about to loose a whole family as one of your customers because of this. This is a rip off. Your food is great, your staff excel in service, but this, even a $6.90 surcharge, it's not acceptable and legal. Even with this, I left a tip of $50.00, because this was not the server fault.

This was our first time here. The food was excellent. We started with the aracini. We had the veal parmesan and the shrimp and lobster scampi. Both were excellent. We finished with the espresso creme bruelee.
The service was surprisingly non existent. Drinks were empty and it felt like we were a bother to her conversations with other coworkers. We would give this place another tried because of the food. Hopefully the service will be better next time.

Food was good. A little pricey for a bowl of pasta but it’s delicious.
