This is my son picture features gluten free mozzarella sticks and hoagie with delicious gluten free artisan roll and loaded with FRESH ingredients! “Ashley was a 10/10. She was nice, attentive, she honestly went above and beyond and it felt natural. Those brussel sprouts do it every time. So good. The drinks were just OK /not her fault. Tons of ice in the marg and not really any flavor. She fixed this tho. The atmosphere is low because there was flies every here and there. Other than that we had a great time. “Crust was an accidental find. I was strolling down the main street in Manayunk and the familiar vegan word caught my eye. Inside, I was surprised by the variety of baked goods, past the usual cupcakes and cookies. Multiple refrigerators house cheesecakes, cake cups, tiramisu, breakfast bakes, monkey bread, and more. We bought a seeded card (Mother's Day is around the distant corner) and a chocolate strawberry cheesecake. The strawberry cheesecake was dense and creamy with a crispy Oreo crust. “I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

“Franzone’s has my favorite pizza. It’s thin crust. It’s a sweet sauce. It’s delicious. They have a great menu although I love the pizza so much that I usually order pizza. They have a full bar. They have a parking lot. They have TVs which were all playing The Masters today. Bethany was our server today. She was friendly and attentive. We’ve been going to Franzone’s for over 20 years. They are celebrating their 70th year anniversary.“

“If you haven’t tried the “rolls,” you’re missing out. Take it from a dude with moobs. I know good food. I f$cks with food. The cheesesteak rolls are delicious to the point of ordering an extra one because you’ll be mad you didn’t get another one. The salmon rolls are, again, one of the reasons Chase’s is a little gem. It’s what makes Philadelphia a city claim passionately. This food is made with love and I love this food!“

The food was amazing and the service was perfect. The bartender was our server and he was on top of everything.
We had the Calamari, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and the Fish & Chips and we were very happy and would order any of it again.
The Fish & Chips was a great portion size!
