We visited the Kitchen Kettle location today and had a great experience! There were two ladies working who were both friendly and helpful. We sampled a few wines and they were all very good. We ended up getting a wine slushy which was amazing – so glad we stopped here!
Hours says open to 5. Staff is unfriendly and claimed no further seating at 4:30pm. They seemed to already be closing up. Doesn't say anywhere on your website that you can't be seated at 4:30pm. Find new staff these two ladies are killing your business. Place was dead only 2 people at outdoor patio. Find new staff these women shouldn't be waiting on people.
I can't even give them benefit of the doubt. Last time I came here one of them followed me and accused me of only coming in to look for a bathroom to use. She was totally disrespectful, as I was only going to see if any seating was available.
I have no interest in visiting this place ever again.
Looking at other reviews it looks like the owners have done nothing to address poor staffing as many other people had to deal with these two rude female staff yet apparently they are still working there.
Awesome
The Cabernet Sauvignon was amazing!!!
Was there this past weekend. I understand they were busy but two of the women working there behind the counter were extremely rude and ignorant. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. I walked out and will patronize friendlier wineries I've been to from now on.
We enjoyed our wine tasting at waltz. I especially liked the apple wine and other white blends. They have a lovely outside seating area to enjoy and you can bring your own food items or purchase cheeses from them to enjoy with your wine.
3 of us were visiting from out of town. We walked in with only 1 other customer in the shop. We were not greeted or even acknowledged. We proceeded to find our own menu on the other side of the counter, looked over it for a few minutes. Still no one greeted or asked how they could help us or if we wanted to try anything. After another associate walked out and completely ignored us we walked out. At that point one of the associates yelled as we were walking out if we’d like to taste anything. Of the dozens of wineries I have been to over the years I have never experienced anything quite like this. Stay away as there or many more wineries, breweries, restaurants and people to do business with in the area that are much better.
Our Lancaster wkd Saturday was rained out. We ran around in the rain shopping. We wandered into this shop and I tried the apple wine and the Moscato. The Moscato is fantastic and the special addition was is even better. I got some Amish butter cheese and a glass of wine. It was a great birthday treat!! Even found this amazing dishtowel about drinking wine and petting my dog lol. This little shop is cozy and the employees are so sweet.
Wine is fine, staff wasn’t the friendliest though.

The wine is good. I've been here before. Their customer service is good at times, but could be better. In truth, it's just one person that walks around frowning as if we are imposing on her day. She's a bit of a walking eye roll.
One of the workers was incredibly rude. It was obvious that even her coworkers thought she was obnoxious but didn’t want to say anything. The wine didn’t stand out. There are too many wineries and breweries in the area to waste your time here.
Waltz is a must visit when you go to Kitchen Kettle! My wife and I have been going for years, and love every wine we try!
Great wine and atmosphere! The staff is amazing❤️
