Food was not bad and service was good. No Cappuccino or espresso
This is an Italian restaurant is it not?
We stopped in last evening to give it a try. Really liked the atmosophere and the decor. Great job. The weather was wonderful so we chose to sit on the screened in porch and we received very good service. Ordered Veal Scalapini and it was good. An addition of lemon or garlic or a splash of white wine in the sauce would take it to the next level. My wife had the chicken bruscetta with broccoli. The dish was cold because the Bruscetta was not warmed before putting it on the...read full review
We came to town for a softball tournament and the front desk recommended them. Grabbed a menu , they have a huge offering and it’s all priced very reasonable!! Ordered a bunch of food and waited less than 45 minutes to have it delivered to our hotel room door!
The meatballs, Alfredo with chicken and broccoli, garlic bread and salad were all so good. It’s not often you can order that much and EVERYTHING is good! We’re in the area for softball often and have already...read full review

Fabio's Restaurant & Authentic Italian Cuisine is a Grantville treasure. This family-owned restaurant, serving the community for 27 years, started as a pizza carryout shop and has grown into a sit-down restaurant with a huge menu. While the outside might not grab attention, the aroma of authentic Italian cooking greets guests. The atmosphere and decor are very nice, with rustic rough cut logs in the ceiling, and there is even outdoor seating on a screened-in porch.
The food is outstanding, with large portions, enough to take some home for another meal. Specific dishes mentioned include Veal Scalapini, which was good but could be improved with lemon, garlic, or white wine in the sauce. The chicken bruscetta with broccoli was tender but served cold because the bruschetta was not warmed. The cheese and sauce on their small pizza were real good, though the crust could be enhanced with a 3-day cold fermentation. Other enjoyed items include a Mediterranean salad, a kids’ portion of spaghetti with sauce, Italian Wedding Soup, tiramisu, and divine garlic bread.
The customer service is excellent, with polite, friendly, and attentive staff. The owner, who was also a waitress, was warm and welcoming. A waitress remembered a whole order without writing it down. While service was very good and food served hot, one reviewer noted slow service at their table on a busy night. Fabio's also has a large gluten-free selection and offers catering, with the option to BYOB. It is considered an excellent place and a good option before heading to the Hollywood casino.
