Place is a joke if your open till 8 you make food till 8 not tell customers 10 min before we stop making food. It’s either 8 your open till or you close when your done making food. Don’t leave a sign on for people to pull in and ask for food to be told we stop making it. Then turn off the light if your done

I love the fact that they have a wide variety of fried foods and ice cream. The people who took care of us are so friendly. I am definitely coming back!
The woman that waited on us was extremely rude. After poor customer service, we waited for 20 minutes to get 3 sundaes and a twister, despite not being very busy. We watched people that ordered after us get their ice cream, eat it, AND LEAVE before we even got ours. We’ve been there a few times this summer and our orders are never consistent. The last time we were there, there were peanuts in my chocolate milkshake.. thankfully I’m not allergic or that could have ended very badly.

Awesome place to stop for a ice cream ? cone or sundae ?, My Dad and I stop here when we're out cruising in our classic muscle cars, atmosphere takes you right back to an earlier decade !
Parking: Parking is awesome too you can pull right up order at the window and be close by your car , works out great for us classic muscle car guys
Kid-friendliness: Bring my kid's with all the time lot's of outdoor tables ,the kids love it !

My fiancee and myself stopped by the boardwalk ice cream for the first time since the new owners took over. Upon arrival I was surprised to see they had sweet potato fries. Having many good allergies, it's hard finding places these days that have options, even with so many people needing special requests. I ordered a double bacon cali cheeseburger and an order of sweet potato fries and black rasp frozen yogurt in a cup. Everything was cooked perfectly, it tasted like and looked like bubba burgers, my favorite. The sweet potato fries were great. The only thing I wish was available is a non-dairy alternative. Like cashew ice cream, oat ice cream or sherbet. With arthritis, having non dairy is a must to keep inflammation away. Maybe in the future there will be an option.
Dietary restrictions: I eat gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, nightshade free, fodmap, keto. You could make something work for these dietary options.
Parking: 20+ spots in a gravel lot. Could easily use a wheelchair or walker.
Wheelchair accessibility: Lot is level with order window and outdoor seating.

They have milkshakes but no milkshake list, so I got a brownie stick sundae .First they were out of peanuts and then the brownie on the bottom was really hard (should have been called brownie brick sundae)ended up breaking it up with a fork and it was dry and disgusting. Also the hot fudge was really watered down. I don't know who bought the place but it was really disappointing.
