Great coffee, great place, friendly staff, easy music playing and a lovely food. Nice cosy place in a very friendly neighbourhood :-) highly recommended :-)
I've been coming to Capital Express for a while now, and it's become one of my favourite spots on the west end. There's something refreshing about how unassuming it is...no gimmicks, no hype, just genuinely good coffee at a fair price. Their chai latte always warms the soul, the staff are incredibly kind, and the cozy space. It makes it easy to slow down for a bit. It's nice to find a place that's simply focused on doing the basics really well. I'll definitely keep coming back.
The muffins have slipped in taste and quality. Coffee still very good Otherwise, feels more like a community drop in than a coffee shop, which is pretty cool.
