This is one of those places that's only a 15 minute ride from home but still kinda out of the way so you forget it's there. Well we tried it tonight and we definitely won't forget it again. The decor is a little dated but in a cool mountain vacation home kinda way. The food, however, is outstanding. We had the stuffed mushrooms app, the meatloaf entree as well as the shrimp and grits. Our meals were delicious. The menu offered some interesting choices. The lobster ravioli appetizer sent my 12 year old son into a tizzy. LOL Our waitress Nikki could not have been nicer.
It is worth the trip! The menu is so varied and the chef is truly talented! For our appetizer, the steamers were just the way we like them and the warm rolls with cinnamon butter were yummy. My husband had the lamb and I had the Bison meatloaf and both were superb. We will be going back in the near future!
