“Wow very impressed went there with the intent of having steak they ran out because they've been so busy so reluctantly I tried the bison meat loaf and I was wildly supposed and impressed excellent absolutely excellent”
“We hosted our company appreciation dinner here and it was a great turnout. From inquiring about the venue to the food it was a wonderful event. The staff was great, and the food was delicious.”
“My first time at Baker's and it definitely won't be my last. The food was absolutely delicious! Service was outstanding and we received our appetizers quickly and they were hot and scrumptious as were our main courses. Love it!”
“Came across this establishment on a recommendation from my in laws. Food, drink, service, and atmosphere were nothing short of amazing!!!!!! Highly recommend!!!!”
“Opening night 6/17/22 for summer of 2022. New summer menu, delicious apps and dinner choices. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with roasted peppers and cheese and my husband had the ahi tuna, both outstanding. Thanks for a wonderful dinner and fun night with great music!”
“Excellent food. Best wings ever! Huge variety to choose from. Large portions cooked perfectly. Great service with really great people working there. Food comes out fast. The deserts are home made and a must have. Our favorite place.”
“As a true Foodie I cannot find one item on Ii Castello's menu that has not been prepared perfectly!!! A nice salad bar compliments the substantial portions served. PIZZA. ALL DELICIOUS!!!Parking: Grab a sandwich and walk down to the Delaware River to see the Eagles and kayaker..”
“Excellent food and staff. Get the medium wings with fresh garlic! They were amazing! Also the poppers were excellent! Very flavorful food. Gets a little rowdy on a Friday, but at least no one was fighting lol. Prices were excellent and staff was attentive. I would definitely return if I'm in the area again. Highly recommended.”
“Food, when the kitchen is open, is absolutely amazing!! The prime rib sandwich is the best I've ever had! Everyone I brought there has been impressed by the unique, historic beauty of the building and unbelievable quality food. They have an old school bowling alley that's almost a hundred years old on the upper level of the building that is a must to check out”
“Great friendly family-owned local bakery! Love the bear claw and pecan pie. And to meet Grandma Goldsack herself was a plus. They also have a lounge with board games if you feel like hanging out with a cup of coffee.”
“Was in Narrowsburg with friends and we came upon this place on a Saturday. Breakfast was so delicious that we returned on Tuesday before we all went home. Great food, great service, great prices.”
“Rock-solid diner breakfast. Generous portions, well-priced, tasty, served with a smile. It's a big room with plenty of space between tables and nobody's rushing you out--perfect for weekend breakfast if you don't feel like cooking. And excellent coffee.Parking: Plenty of parking right out front.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps--easy access.”
“Stop by today to sample the beers from ELDRED, New York. Small cozy brewery, beers served by the owners. Shared stories from Ukraine. They had a variety of 6 beer, 3 ciders and 2 wines. Loved the Yulen hevizien and porter. I was not a fan of the two in the photo. My daughters enjoyed the cinders. I can't wait to visit on a summer day. Baskets of pretzels.”
“My husband & I organized a little 3 nite get-away to Woodloch Resort (Pines area) for ourselves, 3 other couples & one single friend. We are all in our 60s so everyone has had years to solidly determine they like their creature comforts. We are a pretty well-traveled group so some not easily impressed. Hubby, myself & our single friend have all been to Woodloch a few times & love it! We have never visited in November & hoped there would be enough for us to do. Planning to please 6 other adults left us with fingers-crossed, as inevitably there is always someone who feels a restaurant, hotel, etc. didn't quite meet their expectations. However for this trip, every person LOVED it!! The check-in is not until 5:00 pm but we were allowed to get our wristbands & enjoy the amenities of the resort while we waited for a text that our room was ready. The 3 couples each had Deluxe Lakeview accommodations in the Greenbriar bldg., attached to main building. They were thrilled with the beautiful view each morning from their room or while on their private balcony/patio. They were able to walk to the dining room, night club/show area, sports bar, or lobby which was our usual meeting point, all without going outside. They were right there for mini-golf, bocci, etc. For those traveling with kids it is close to the big playground, water slide in summer or snowtubing in winter, pedal boats or rowboats. My husband, friend & I shared an Edgewater Suite which had a full kitchen, a large bedroom with 2 queen beds, living room with pull out sleeper couch which my friend said was comfortable (but that's based on someone who regularly falls asleep lying on her couch - LOL) & a washer & dryer. Very spacious. It was a little bit of a walk to the main bldg which was no issue for hubs & me but my friend has walking issues. No problem there - there were 3 shuttles that ran right up until midnight. Never a long wait & at times we called the front desk if we knew she just missed it & another shuttle was immediately dispatched. When she asked an employee for a safe way to walk down to the pontoon boat ride as to not go down a somewhat steep walkway they offered to call for a golf cart ride & were right there with it. The one word to describe every employee would be "Accommodating!" Now, of course, food is also important. We had a meal plan that included breakfast & dinner. Both meals each day were plentiful, very good, good variety (breakfast standard crowd-pleasers of eggs any style, home fries, bacon/sausage/turkey bacon, & their homemade bread & morning cake (amazing crumb cake one day, an apple crumb another, etc.), or egg white frittata for those seeking a healthier alternative, just to name a few. Dinner always had homemade soup, family style serving of salad & veggie plus 4 entree choices that included an option for non-meat eaters. Of course, those delicious homemade breads were right there for the taking. Even when stuffed you must try their made-on-premises creamy ice cream. So delicious! The wait staff was attentive & pleasant. Jorge was our waiter for the first couple of days & just the nicest guy always greeting us even when not assigned to our table. Although lunch was not in our plan there was a Deli at the Inn at Woodloch that we visited each day. Homemade soup was great & a large choice of made to order sandwiches The sandwich price was generally a reasonable $10 & for the amt on that sandwich & given the fact Boars Head cold cuts are used I felt that was more than fair. Those with a family could always buy cold cuts & fresh Italian bread from another deli/store by the gas station within the resort premises & make their own. Each room has a fridge. There were plenty of activities: Name that Tune, Minute to Win it, bocci, mini-golf, pedal boats still operating in this cool weather, Go-Carts, & these senior citizens even went into child mode & did the bumper cars! We tried archery which Kayne was manning. He showed the ”
“They've got a good selection of lunch foods - burgers, fish, nuggets, chicken tenders, wings, sandwiches, fries, etc. They also have various ice cream options, as well as a drink cooler, and some snack options. For someone in town looking for somewhere to stop for lunch or ice cream, it's affordable and the food is good. They've always been friendly to me and even began stocking malt vinegar when I requested it with their fried haddock & fries meal. If you like wings, try the teriyaki wings - a local bar was apparently voted years ago as having the best wings compared to some other businesses in the region, but I've had wings from both businesses many times and absolutely prefer the wings here. When I requested extra teriyaki sauce, they'd practically drown the wings in sauce (to my delight). It's nice to have affordable food with good portions in the area, so I fully recommend them.”
“The Barryville Oasis exceeds all expectations; although, with the camel on the roof, it's hard to know what to expect! Barryville Oasis is part of the Stickett Inn family serving a selection of its tasty ciders. I very much enjoyed this season's special black and blue cider (blackberry and blueberry cider). They have a fun selection of tacos, burritos, appetizers, and brunch options. We started with the "Poppers" and Guacamole. The poppers were awesome. As our server shared, "they aren't your sports bar poppers." It was fresh jalapenos smothered in cream cheese and, I believe, wrapped in fried cheese. It looked more like a small crepe. My friends also liked their quac and chips. I ordered the breakfast burrito as my main; yum, yum, yum! Scrambled eggs, hash browns, chorizo, cheese, and pico de gallo wrapped in a flour tortilla with a side of chipotle sauce - what's not to love. Our server was incredibly friendly, and the space has tons of character. Large parties be aware: there are only two "large" tables (booths that fit a party of 4) and the rest of the space is bar or two-top high-chairs. Anywho - Come enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere, tasty cider, and delicious food at the Barryville Oasis!”
“The new menu is delicious the garlic parm wings were great the soup was outstanding and our entrees were delicious we are very happy to experience all-the new menu options”
“My friend came to visit from Las Vegas , before I took her to the airport she got a sausage pepper onion sub. TSA had her open the bag and sub as they do this two other TSA people come over because it smelled that good! ? . I always eat here but thought this was funny and basically a review from her ! The staff there is always amazing!”
“Typical american fair is not my favorite and with no other options nearby i found myself here. The staff were amazing. Despite my temper they went above and beyond to find a custom vegan option or two. A littlespinish heavy so I wish they had this on the menu. The rest of our party enjoyed in very much. The most important thing to know is they work with special diets. Recommended, even if you do not see a desired dish on the menu. They may help you out as they did for me.”
“Great place to swim at the lake with friends.Kid-friendliness: Great place for the kids Parking: Lots of parking ????Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of front wheel chair parking ???? lol”
“I wish I lived closer so I could be a regular here. As a new mom, coffee is a necessity. My husband and I visited Gigi's each day of our stay at Woodloch to enjoy the delicious savory coffee that we so desperately needed. We were there during Christmas so we enjoyed the holiday specials, my favorite was the gingerbread latte and my husbands the sugar cookie latte.”
“While this restaurant in Woodloch Springs is not the fine dining experience one could have at Tree (adults only) across the road in The Lodge, it serves its purpose well. It can accommodate groups, perfect for lunch after golf, and offers comfort food to the entire family. Good beer selection, friendly staff and plenty of parking. We came in for small bites with our friends and their 2yr old and had a good time.”
“Just enjoyed a great lunch lakeside food is excellent prices are affordable service is outstanding Jennifer was great definitely recommend this restaurant great asset to gold ”
“Great pizza!! Great service! I'm definitely going back!! Waitress was practically psychic the way she had things out on the table before I even asked for them.”
“Had a nice family lunch, we tried 3 different pies. Chicken, bacon and ranch, Sicilian, and traditional. Our waitress was great. The expresso with the cold foam was delicious. All the best to this little family business.”
“My boyfriend suggested we go here for dinner and I have to say we left so disappointed.. The drinks weren’t great, very sweet and hardly any liquor. The appetizers were just ok. We got the coconut shrimp which was probably the best thing we had there. The honey bourbon wings were decent, the Jamaican jerk wings were not anything like any jerk chicken I’ve ever had.. and not in a good way.. there was hardly any spice or seasoning. My boyfriend got the chicken parm and the sauce was clearly a jarred sauce and it tasted like cafeteria food. I got the spinach salad that had pear, blue cheese, walnuts and dried cranberries. It was $20 and absolutely not worth that price whatsoever. The pears were mushy and from a can, the portion size was so small, and the spinach itself had rotten pieces that turned my stomach. Our waitress was a sweetheart but that was about the only good thing there. We certainly won’t be back..”
“Despite being extremely busy with customers and mobile orders, Jimmy was surprisingly polite and professional and upbeat. It felt like the kind of service you'd get at a higher end sandwich shop 20 years ago when people cared more. I hadn't been to subway in a while but this experience will make me come back for sure. Thanks Jimmy!”
“Dare I say the best wings I’ve had in quite some time. Came at an off time so was in between lunch and dinner but we made it work with our food choices. Perfect rustic cabin vibe, just what you would expect in the area. Have been here before & will be back sooner than later.”
“Solidly good food. Being busy did not detract from service or quality. Pleasant, fast, and as affordable as most fast food these days.Parking: Entrance can be hard to turn it off at busy times.”
“Mel's never fails, Friday night was crazy, champagne service was Spectacular, these girls were smoking hot, Friday nights was between a full on rave party/Vegas party I don't expect anything less from this place...”
