The food for our banquet was top knotch, the chicken tenders were some of the best I personally have ever had. The rest of the food was every bit as great!!! The staff that took care of the 73 swimmers and their parent's were very accommodating and so very nice and most friendly. Top knotch all around!!!”

“Nice little neighborhood bar. Got to meet some friendly locals on our way through town. The kitchen wasn't open yet (we stopped around 1:00 ... kitchen opens later) so honestly don't know about the food.”

“A standard and favorite place to go. One of the nicer, best places to eat in the area. All the food from start to finish is delicious. Subtle, but everything is super tasteful. Highly recommend and definitely a place to frequent.”

Not conventional but maybe everyone should follow suit here. This is something I experienced in Florence by the way. so if the quality is there, then quit your whining, and LOOSEN UP I say! Publishing fixed prices with the way the cost of food goods are fluctuating like gas prices is a huge waste of time and money for small business! A small business owner who usually doesn't have enough time in the day as it is, should simply adopt the concept. It probably saves a ton of money and time, I get it, I applaud the notion! Everything was wonderful!”

“My friends and I stopped in one day for an early dinner. We got garlic knots, the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and cannoli’s. I’m still thinking about how good everything was. We are from Pennsylvania and I’d make a day trip for that pizza any time of the week!”

“We are visiting in the area and had dinner here - the garlic parm crusted haddock was super flavorful and came with mashed potatoes and delicious sautéed veggies. “Came for drinks and dinner on the recommendation of our hosts across the street at the Stickett Inn. Quiet night, so we ended up chatting with the owner, Sonia, who was so much fun! Ordered the mac-and-cheese (amazing!!), sesame ginger salad, and salmon. Food was so good we ended up coming back the next night as well. Night two order the pork chop and the roast chicken, which also did not disappoint! Will definitely visit again if we're in the area.”

“The food was pretty basic and the service was slower than expected. We asked if we could sit outside and were told there was no outdoor seating, but the entire patio was empty the whole time. That was honestly disappointing, especially since it was such a nice day. Overall, not a terrible experience, but definitely not somewhere I’d go out of my way to return to.”

“This was my first time and I was excited to try it based on the reviews. I understand it was a holiday weekend. The service was very very slow. The food was mediocre at best. I left there feeling very disappointed with 90% of my dinner in a box. Which I did not eat, I gave it to my son as a late night snack.”

“We are locals and are always so happy when cedar Rapids opens up for the summer. Tiffany makes the best variety of drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic. I don't like sangria, Tiffany makes it from scratch and I love it. The staff this year is amazing. Irene is a great seasoned manager, treats her staff amazing. Sometimes they get busy and the wait times are a bit long for some people. We don't mind the wait. The staff and scenery are fantastic. We love cedar rapids!

“Mixed experiences multiple visits here. Some great visits, most recently cold food and inconsistent. Owner asked for feedback then became aggressive with my girlfriend when she told her the soup was cold and my sandwich was shredded instead of whole ribs. If the owners cooking, it’s been good. Otherwise, not very good. Atmosphere mixed, 2 separate rooms with VERY different vibes. Bar area is fun, but friendly lacks. Dining area less fun, but super friendly. Depends on the day. Be careful if you have complaints, owner is quite loud and defensive. She could be less confrontational as we were very calm and gave feedback which she asked for us to give if any future problems were to arise. She also approched our table saying “always a problem” instead of a simple “hi” or asking us what our complaint was. (We only had one complaint one other time which she corrected a burnt quesadilla) Not sure if we’ll be back anytime soon which stinks because it’s one of the few places in the area we are close to and is open late at night.”

“Great, fast & consistent service. Easily the best Chinese and takeout food in the area. Their food is always delicious. The owners work so hard and are always there. There are a lot of reviews complaining about rudeness from the staff, but they are truly the nicest people. If you’re nice to them, they will be nice to you.”
