Gets a little rowdy on a Friday, but at least no one was fighting lol. Prices were excellent and staff was attentive. I would definitely return if I'm in the area again. Highly recommended.”

“All of the proceeds from what you buy in the cafe go toward the Kadampa fund that helps build more Kadampa centers and temples worldwide. They've always got fresh espresso from their espresso machine, and serve Americanos and lattes and more. They also have a variety of caffeinated or non caffeinated teas, or you can just get a cold drink from the drink fridge. On Sundays, after Prayers for World Peace, they typically have scones, muffins, cookies, and the like. During busy festivals, they typically also have a variety of cake or pie slices, including my favorite pistachio ricotta cheesecake or their homemade carrot cake. It's open to the public during any public event day, or is home to many Kadampa practitioners relaxing and conversing when not in a class/session.”

They've always been friendly to me and even began stocking malt vinegar when I requested it with their fried haddock & fries meal. If you like wings, try the teriyaki wings - a local bar was apparently voted years ago as having the best wings compared to some other businesses in the region, but I've had wings from both businesses many times and absolutely prefer the wings here. When I requested extra teriyaki sauce, they'd practically drown the wings in sauce (to my delight). It's nice to have affordable food with good portions in the area, so I fully recommend them.”

“The Barryville Oasis exceeds all expectations; although, with the camel on the roof, it's hard to know what to expect! Barryville Oasis is part of the Stickett Inn family serving a selection of its tasty ciders. I very much enjoyed this season's special black and blue cider (blackberry and blueberry cider). They have a fun selection of tacos, burritos, appetizers, and brunch options. We started with the "Poppers" and Guacamole. The poppers were awesome. As our server shared, "they aren't your sports bar poppers." It was fresh jalapenos smothered in cream cheese and, I believe, wrapped in fried cheese. It looked more like a small crepe. My friends also liked their quac and chips. I ordered the breakfast burrito as my main; yum, yum, yum! Scrambled eggs, hash browns, chorizo, cheese, and pico de gallo wrapped in a flour tortilla with a side of chipotle sauce - what's not to love. Our server was incredibly friendly, and the space has tons of character. Large parties be aware: there are only two "large" tables (booths that fit a party of 4) and the rest of the space is bar or two-top high-chairs. Anywho - Come enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere, tasty cider, and delicious food at the Barryville Oasis!”

TSA had her open the bag and sub as they do this two other TSA people come over because it smelled that good! ? . I always eat here but thought this was funny and basically a review from her ! “Great deal at $12.95/person for lunch. Appreciate that they asked us if we wanted to upgrade for dinner instead of charging it automatically (my dad and I arrived close to the cutoff). Unlimited hot tea was $1.50. No complaints at all, go here if you're in the mood for Chinese in the Pike County area.”
