We checked out our favorite seafood place for the 1st time since they changed ownership. I have to say, Chris is missed! There is nobody now that takes your drink order as soon as you sit down (we loved that) & nobody watching over the kitchen & patrons to make sure all is good. They did apologize for slow service, but this would have never happened with Chris running the show... he was so hands-on to cover for everyone. He also would help make cocktails when things got busy. It took 15min to order our beers and another 15 before they showed up at the table. Even messed up the beer order but I wasnt going to turn it back, was parched lol. New floor is a great improvement & soup was good. Bread came out hot but their infamous butter mix was not up to par. Like it sat too many days in the fridge past its prime. The house dressing for the salad was completely tasteless, how did they manage to even not get that right? The salmon special with artichoke was not good: the artichokes were refrigerator cold & the veggies & salmon were just barely warm...Unacceptable. Such a disappointment that the new ownership failed us. We will give it another try and hopefully see improvements. But in the meantime we now have to travel much further to have a nice seafood dinner with good service. Chris, you are missed!!!

2nd time here. First was spur of the moment had to sit at bar and eat. Ordered filet mignon rated it 8.5 of 10 had to come back to try again at table service. Made reservations they squeezed us in same day as call tried to order filet again but they were out? Friday night out already 5:30 pm? Very disappointed but ordered the strip steak. Steak was cooked perfect but sauce on it was just ok. Dinner does come with warm bread and side salad both were delicious

Kind of dark inside. Seafood dishes automatically come with plain white rice, which was clumped together, dry and not very warm. No one at the table ate it. Crab cakes and stuffed shrimp were very good, salad was good, vegetables were good. Delicious bread, but if you want more than 2 loaves, there's an upcharge. We were a table of 6. Service was good, but not real friendly. Overall, a mediocre experience.Parking: Limited parking in front, plenty of parking in adjacent lot.
