Bless my country fried steak heart. Route 40 Classic Diner is Grandma approved. We felt all kinds of nostalgic, the kind that plucks your heart strings. This delightful diner is an easy quick stop in Grindstone PA, the food is solid old school line kitchen and has an Americana ambiance that’ll sit you right back at Grandma’s table. I have to go back for a milkshake, with fries of course! Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing on your travels.
Classic 50’s diner with lots of specials and desserts. Also the only bathroom we could find for many exits, so if you’re on a road trip, stop in and get some hot food and check out the retro decor.

Me and my wife have been going out to dinner every day for the past 43 years. Never have we had an experience like we had at the diner. Best server we have ever had her name was April, we told her she needed a pair of rollers skates as fast as she was moving making sure everyone was taken care of.
