Not kid friendly! Brought my daughter to have tea with my family and was immediately greeted with “I didn’t know a child was coming”. I replied that she would be sitting on my lap because she refuses to sit in her own seat and was met with “Just make sure she stays in your lap.” Immediately wanted to leave due to not feeling welcome at all. Later in the tea I decided to leave due to my daughter getting tired and wanting to explore. As I checked out again I was met with “are you tired? Or did you wake up to early and just wanna run around everywhere?” Being asked to my daughter. I have never felt more unwelcome at a place just for having a child. I will not be back. Also, they mix gluten free items on the same tray as regular food items so be prepared for contamination.

Fantastic B&B & Tea House! (We did both ?) We had a great stay at Forney House. Hostess is super nice. Tea and food is wonderful. Highly recommended!!!Rooms: Good size. Comfy bed. Has smart TV. Clean. Great bathroom.Nearby activities: Eichelberger performing arts center, Gettysburg, Mansion tours, breweries.Safety: No safety worries. In very nice area.Walkability: Great Hanover location. In beautiful location with breweries nearby.Food & drinks: Restaurants and breweries are nearby

AMAZING!! The owner Diane, is so incredibly personable and her food is absolutely divine with really nice sized portions. She has so many different yummy teas that your bound to find a new favorite!! We have already booked our next tea!!..Update: we just had a Christmas Tea here and it was FANTASTIC!! I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT THIS PLACE!! Sorry for the caps, but it deserves a huge shout out!!!

We had a wonderful experience. Family traditional of all the females having a Christmas tea. This year the count was 19. We did sit in 2 rooms. The place is roomy which allowed us to visit. The teas, which was brought out random, you didn't get to choose, were brewed very nicely. The good was very tasty. Staff could be nicer and very prompt. Afterwards Diane, who is great fun, took a series of family photo on one of our phones. Great customer service. Definitely will return. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Amazing bed and breakfast located in the beautiful town of Hanover pennsylvania. This was my first time attending afternoon tea and I was not disappointed. The list of teas available are too many to list and each was wonderful to drink. Accompanied with the tea was an assortment of soup, salad and the perfect amount of sandwiches and pastries. The ambience took you back to the 1900s. The service was wonderful. The cute little gift shop had most of the teas that were served accompanied by jewelry and very cute trinkets. Definitely one of the best tea houses I have attended.
The owner, Diane has a beautiful bed and breakfast. The decorations are gorgeous and my room was very comfortable. She makes a delicious breakfast. Diane is very accommodating. I definitely look forward to staying at the Forney Bed and Breakfast again.
